I’m just a weird, furry, pan guy (cis he/him). I also have a big, blue username.

I’m learning Japanese so sometimes I might write something out in romaji just to practice. Please correct it if it’s wrong!

And this shit is why.

That just means the dumbasses will get even less traffic. Way to shoot yourself in the foot, Spazz.

There’s no way they used that much of the interior. Where do all those giants pits go?

Micheal Cane was awesome in the Muppet movie he starred in because he treated his fellow muppets like people.

Tim Curry was awesome in the Muppet movie he starred in because he treated himself like a fellow Muppet.

At least you control where it stops and can use skill to always get what you want; unlike a real slot machine.

Kolanaki ,

RNG manipulation to get the initial delay to be exactly what you want. Or just wait a few cycles to see what time table you’ve been given before you hit the button to stop the scroll.

Oh that’s incorrect. She actually says “Hey guys, did you know that in terms of male human and female Pokémon breeding, Vaporeon is the most compatible Pokémon for humans?”

Kolanaki ,

But that’s like the entire game anyway… You mean to tell me you play a last man standing shooter and let people live?

I usually just use Bluetooth cuz I’m only transferring an image or two over. But if it’s something big, I just use USB transfer because when the phone is plugged into the computer, it appears as an external drive.

Using this double sided boy seems like it would be putting a lot of weight on the USB port… 🤔

The real solution is to make Salmo not have a need to eat.

Kolanaki ,
@Kolanaki@yiffit.net avatar

The bug is caused because Salmon zero sums upon eating bread and no current PC on earth can handle the effect of that happening.

Would it be more or less creepy to wait for them outside to get off work? 🤔

Eat a lot of onion and garlic. Eat fewer fruits like bananas.

Actually, it’s a Futurama plot. The one where the Professor says “I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.”

Hell, at least one, Shirley Chisholm, campaigned to be on the Democrat ballot in 1977. That counts as running for president, even if they don’t win the primary right?

Kolanaki ,
@Kolanaki@yiffit.net avatar

Ok then, if you don’t vote then you don’t get to complain about the government or politics. Thems the rules.

Kolanaki ,
@Kolanaki@yiffit.net avatar

I remember the first election I was old enough to vote in (the 2004 election) paying close attention to all the political ads I saw and, at least for that election, only the Republican ads were focused on “other guy bad, so vote me.” The opposing side’s ads were entirely focused on their own platform and never even mentioned the other side.

Don’t troll the dude. Requiem for a Dream must be watched high in order to fully grasp the plot.

Restaurants sit half-empty in Turkey this summer as inflation reaches 91% in places sending tourists and locals flocking to neighboring Greece (fortune.com)

Restaurants in some Turkish holiday towns are sitting half-empty in peak tourist season, as many locals find it’s cheaper to holiday in neighboring Greece than stay and eat in one of their own country’s world-famous resorts....

Man, I remember when I was in school the edgy tweens and teens who claimed to be communist didn’t say stupid shit like denying actual history… They just wore red berets and Che Guevara t-shirts, completely oblivious to how that was supporting capitalism.

Yes. Quite literally the model used by most subscription services.

Are there any methods of saving login and session data without the use of cookies? Because if Google killed cookies and I had to log in every single time I wanted to use something: I would stop using everything because of the inconvenience.

Also, it looks like there might be some kind of standard for federated login being worked on but I haven’t really investigated it: developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/…/FedCM_API

Seedless watermelons, at least, still have seeds. They’re just not as numerous, or as big (and often just white instead of black). Also, many plants can be cloned by planting a cutting from the stem.

Nearly every game I know of that ties things to the frame rate are games that require frame perfect inputs for many mechanics so I assume it’s just a lot easier to ensure the timings are predictable and achieveable by a wide range of hardware than it would be to base everything on the internal clock or some other time measurement that can vary depending on the machine.

My only experience with programming time based things is in doing mission creation and scripting for ARMA, but it has very much the same kind of issue where if you want everyone playing on the same server to have the same timings for events and such, you can’t just use the game timer. It would be several milliseconds off every client to the server making it unpredictable and desynchronized from all other players.

LAPD warns residents after spike in burglaries using Wi-Fi jammers that disable security cameras, smart doorbells (www.tomshardware.com)

The Los Angeles Police Department has warned residents to be wary of thieves using technology to break into homes undetected. High-tech burglars have apparently knocked out their victims’ wireless cameras and alarms in the Los Angeles Wilshire-area neighborhoods before getting away with swag bags full of valuables.
