I’ve been considering a switch to Linux for my main rig, which also runs my Plex and associated services. Does anyone have any advice for me regarding distro, tool compatibility, similar tools to consider while switching, gotcha moments, losses in key functionality, etc. Any advice appreciated!

Typically I’d accomplish this in the command line by issuing dnf upgrade, but it refuses to update because doing so would remove the protected package nobara-amdgpu-config. Me and my friend were discussing this the other day about how he said RAID is no longer needed. He said it was due to how big SSDs have gotten and that apparently you can replace sectors within them if a problem occurs which is why having an array is not needed....

For the last two days, there seem to be dns/secure connection/insecure connection issues when attempting to access fedia.io, sometimes the home splash page comes up, most oven over the last 48 hours or so, browser shows could not connect error....

Everything was good, great in fact. Everything was working, but my OCD weren’t okay with how a few services were set-up, so I cleaned up my yaml, commented my docker compose and felt cushty… right up until it was time to fix Immich....

Drinking pure H2O isn’t good for you. As far as I know it could even be deadly. But what if you had a pill with all the minerals usually dissolved in water and washed it down with a nice big glass of distilled water? Would it be more or less the same as drinking tap water? Or would you need more time to dissolve the minerals?...
