Dell has got to be one of the most frustrating companies that put out a linux laptop. They put out a laptop certified for ubuntu but then never support newer releases. I have to submit a document for employment and they want my passport but my passport photo is 5.49 MB and they say you can’t upload anything more than 5 MB. How can I shrink that file on my android phone without paying some service?

I am running wg-easy and there is a way to passport protect the GUI used for creating Wireguard connections. Is there a way to prohibit connection to be made if not a password is entered? I don’t want someone to be able to access my VPN if for example my phone would be stolen unlocked. I don’t mind if it is client side only

You wouldn’t start off an e-mail with “My Dear X”, or “Dearest X”, since that would be too personal for a professional email, so “To X” being more impersonal seems like it would make the letter more professional-sounding, compared to “Dear X”.

I’m curious how software can be created and evolve over time. I’m afraid that at some point, we’ll realize there are issues with the software we’re using that can only be remedied by massive changes or a complete rewrite....
