Woovie , in CheapGuilty™ A hypothetical Amazon feature that disables "high-to-low" filter if you are cheap 😅

You could just go to theast page 😎

Amazon’s search is the worst. It doesn’t really matter what filters you use, they are only going to show you what they want to.

lurch , in CheapGuilty™ A hypothetical Amazon feature that disables "high-to-low" filter if you are cheap 😅

the search in amazon is so bad that you sometimes need high to low: some searches get you so much cheap unrelated trash, you have to sort high to low, and page down so you find the actual cheapest match quicker.

Default sort: 237 matches

Sort by price (either way): 17 matches

So uhhhh… What happened to the other 220 results?

Amazon search is trash and you might as well google it like you had to do with reddit search.

noobnarski ,

The best thing is, if you sort low to high, after the 2nd or 3rd page it just completely breaks and starts showing items randomly.

Landmammals , in CheapGuilty™ A hypothetical Amazon feature that disables "high-to-low" filter if you are cheap 😅

If you set the filter high to low you can choose the right amount of cheap.

I hate that the convention for naming React.useState variables is [color, setColor], rather than [color, colorSet]. After I declare ‘color’, I want to copy/paste that variable and append ‘Set’, rather than copy the variable then writing ‘set’ then pasting then navigating to the 4th character then flipping the case.

Granted there could be some ambiguity if there was a variable containing a unique collection (aka set) but that is far less common than declaring a useState variable. I’d even settle for appending ‘SET’ to quell the confusion.

White House are not Emacs guys!? That’s not surprising. They believe in ‘you can’t change the program, but the program changes you’.
