Over a Million Americans lost their lives due to an inept Federal Viral Pandemic response during Trump's last administration. If that's not being burdened, and warned pretty plainly, by what has been, I don't know anything that would qualify.
The choice is life and death. These things are not the same.
But why? I usually throw them away. Or I put them in the junk drawer for a few years in case I find another use for them and THEN throw them away when I clean out the junk drawer… Do they have some kind of hidden potential I’m not aware of? Does leaving them on a windowsill somehow change their properties?
Such a beautiful idea; after a long, parched stretch of time where you aren’t sure if your water supply will last you long enough to survive, the sky opens up and the rains finally fall. Your saved!
What the heck does blessing the rains do? Extra damage against the undead?
I used to play an MMO called Shards of Dalaya that was a modified EverQuest. Anyway, Felwithe, the High Elf town, was named Athica in it and there was a server event where there was a raid there. One of the comments in chat was “I bless the raids down in Athica.” Always thought that was clever.
I still enjoy it, but yes, I don’t need almost every story/movie to be ripped from reality. This isn’t law and order. Every once in a while, sure, like the WoW episode.
South Park fell off for me right when Trump got elected. The world just got too absurd for South Park to properly make fun of at that point, I suspect.
It’s funny how as soon as something is either invisible or disconnected by time from something else, it suddenly is a matter of belief for some people.
I’m glad we don’t hear debates about whether it is possible for an internal combustion engine to power a motor vehicle at highway speeds.
You think Hoover dam was built by humans?? No-one can build anything that big. The architects were helped by aliens.
Structure of that size placed so precisely that it happens to form an artificial lake and produce electricity?
Besides Hoover dam is a single structure. No seams or parts. What factory can produce a mold that big let alone move it across from factory to the river. There are no trucks that big.
You want to cite a source for that because I can’t find anything. Everything I’m finding says that before 1959 it was never used as a name and only as a word. And the name translates differently than Mildred.
You know what’s “funny”. Vegans DO fund not only alternatives but also meat subsidies with the taxes on vegan food. For meat to be as cheap as it is, a lot of tax money is going into the industry
It makes me think of that Stone Henge thing just recently. That was such a despicable shit show that people have been calling it a false flag to distance it from actual activism.
They used water soluble pigment. It’ll wash off when the rain comes. There’s no chemical reaction with the stone that could cause lasting damage. And given that it’s fucking England, I’m sure the rain has already come and washed it away. You’re getting mad over nothing.
You wouldn’t even need to really put a Wikipedia edit through, you could write what you like on the edit screen and just hit “preview” to get the screenshot.
This. It’s deceptive af. My old job we had our holiday party at a KBBQ spot and all 12 of us went through like 30 bottles. I remember looking up and thinking, wtf where did all these bottles come from?!.. oh wait I’m blasted. God I miss that little company, such a fun job.
