If I randomly kill all humans it would be genocide. I absolutely hate the common usage of the word, but killing all humans definitely would be genocide.
Killing 50% of any one people is genocide, right? For example, the Nazis killed up to 50% of European Romani people and it is classified as a genocide.
Let’s assume killing 50% of n peoples is genocide.
Since killing 50% of n peoples is genocide, killing 50% of n+1 peoples must also be genocide, else a number N would exist such that killing 50% of N - 1 peoples is genocide but killing 50% of N peoples is not. The existence of such a number N would be quite contradictory, as it would imply one could undo genocide by killing more people. Additionally, if one were to first kill 50% of N - 1 people and then kill 50% of one more people some time later, both events would be classified as genocide, since killing 50% of one people is assumed to be genocide.
That’s true but they usually spoof some person I don’t know. So if I google it and it’s some Betty from East Bumfuck, I know not to pick up. Now, if they spoofed someone I know, that’s different.
The thing is, there are legit reasons to want to spoof numbers. My use case is that if I'm not reachable via sip I send the call over the normal phone network and set cid to the calling number.
I guess a middle ground would be that you could spoof numbers to phone numbers you've registered and verified with your provider.
To be honest though, the scammers and spammers will always find a way round it and spoof anyway.
I feel like the artist originally wanted to make this primarily medieval themed. But then realisied “Oh yeah, news and stuff are a thing.” And then just added laptops and antennas.

This just shows that AI sucks for getting accurate information. Even if it didn’t hallucinate black people, it would’ve been just as wrong, just with white skinned queens. Now the lies just line up with “current social freakout of conservatives”.
It's "February", so when the user typed "Febu" the program discarded "February" as an option. Only the "ary" part is autocompleted in that image, the "Febu" part has been typed manually. Although I can imagine that that first R will steadily get dropped in some dialects of English considering how it isn't really pronounced in them
Someone posted the version I saw below. In that one, the person has only typed “Fe”. I haven’t seen one that had “Febu” typed, but yeah, that obviously would throw it.
It really does not, even if you have a perfectly accurate model and ask it “draw an English queen, but make it ethnically diverse” this would still appear.
Slowly going away. I remember, when I was a kid, out during the summer in the backyard. You would see so many of these little fuckers in every direction you look. Just all over the place. Now, during the summer, you are lucky to see one every few minutes.
Where I live they seem to come and go. Some years there’s literally zero, then a few years later there’ll be so many you almost don’t wanna go outside because they might get in your mouth. Although admittedly I haven’t seen the usual swarms lately either. It’s long overdue and yet they’re not here.
It’s a big change from when I was a kid, still living in this same area, but we had a consistent, manageable number of fireflies every year.
Your expectations of people understanding falconry in general and the gear that falconers use is far higher than I’d give the average person credit for tbh.
