It’s a supermicro x8dal-i with two xeon x5650 from 2010. 6c/12t each, base frequency 2.33 GHz, turbo to 3.2 GHz single core, 3 DDR3 ports each in two Numa nodes, for a total of 24GB at 2400 MT/s. It only supports PCIe 2.0, for a 1060 3GB.
It’s slow as hell in single thread, it’s acceptable in multi thread. It doesn’t go out of memory. It sounds like a lawnmower. It boots up between 1 min and 6 min. It overheats and shuts down in summer (hence the desk fan and the little fan blowing on the chipset). It chokes that 1060 with its slow PCIe. Lots of sata, only one 128 GB SSD. Most games from before the 2021 run. Overall pretty cool. It has two Intel gigabit Ethernet.
Both windows 10 and Ubuntu are taking a toll on it. But I bet a nice fresh install will fix it. But I won’t do it because it’s not my main kick anymore

Yeah, the trial verdict really pisses off conservatives. A coworker was a Nikki Haley supporter. I thought she’d be annoyed, but not too angry, because I thought she’d given up on Trump. Wrong!
She usually knows better than to talk politics with me, but she had to vent about the Trump trial. Of course, she blamed everyone but him.
To avoid making her even angrier, I pretended to remain neutral, claiming that I didn’t know much and hadn’t really been following the trial, but secretly I was enjoying every bit of her Fox News-parroting tantrum. She’s good at her job, but a malleable idiot when it comes to politics.
Same, walking into work this morning, guy says something about them fucking trump over and then asks what I think about trump and I tell him he doesn’t want to know, it’s a five minute walk from there to where we work in the building.
I mean, it’s risky, but if you do it right maybe you could trigger her enough to blow up and get fired without getting in trouble yourself? Fascist fucks deserve that, too.
There are fantastic ways to politely and without any blame making people feel stupid enough to shut up, or make them backpedal and change the subject. Knowing your audience helps too, who else is there and what their politics are. I don’t think that comes naturally to anyone really though. Not most.

Candace Owens, the lady on the right, is a right wing reporter/talking head who has had a fairly successful career doing podcasts and such. I guess she has extra claim to fame being a token educated African American woman on the political side she supports.
I’m not familiar with the Daily Wire, but judging that Ben Shapiro (another right wing reporter/talking head) is the person immediately to Candace’s left, I’m guessing it’s a right wing news outlet.
The “About” six million is a reference to holocaust denial, the “entry level” of which seems to be challenging the claimed amount of slain Jews.
Additionally, the “So articulate” is a reference to a pretty infamous comment Joe Biden made about Obama being so articulate for a black man, or something to that effect.
The comment about locking their desk is referring to the racist stereotype that African Americans steal.
I’m sure there’s a some dissent over just how far right wing these people all are, but I think that covers the gist of the joke.
Sorry, can you back the part of that about Biden? Because it's a pretty common trope of how unaware white people will say someone "seems so articulate", I think it showed up in the first episode of The Boondocks?
