While I love the *arrs for video, I found Lidarr pretty damn awful, perhaps it’s OK with usenet but not torrent without specialised private trackers. Anywho, I found the Soulseek network, spiritual successor to Napster, which has most of everything, usually at high bitrate, and take pleasure hand curating a personal library. I like the Nicotine client. There’s so much more music than video that it makes sense to be choosy, I’m my own personal DJ…
Ever see a toucan in person? I had an employee with a toucan he would sometimes bring into work. It could throw things, especially round fruit, with uncanny accuracy. Like it could easily play catch from at least 2m away.
Glaucous-winged gulls also seem to have uncanny accuracy with defecation, but that’s not quite throwing.
Yeah, actually. They had one for sale at Pet Supply Plus near me years ago and I researched how to care for them while I saved up to buy it only to find it was sold when I got the cash. :(
One of the worst IT setups I’ve encountered involved a company using a patchwork of outdated systems and manual processes. They had multiple disconnected applications for different functions—some were on-premises and others were in the cloud, with no integration between them. This led to data silos, inconsistent information, and a lot of manual data entry.
After researching for months, finally the company adopted an ERP system which has greatly improved their situation. This system eliminated the need for manual entry, reduced errors, and provided a centralized view of their operations, leading to better decision-making and efficiency.
Try different ones out! If you have the time at least.
Otherwise, I’d personally suggest trying out some of the more active Wayland WMs, such as Hyprland or Niri, and of course, sway which is i3 but for wayland! :)
I suggest Wayland because X11 is being dropped everywhere, so it isn’t too wise to get used to an X11 WM, if you’re going out of your way to learn something new in the first place 🙂🤷♂️
So before I knew shit about the fediverse I was trying to find and instance and I thought “oh neat I’m a leftist,” and created an account on hexbear. I was not prepared at all for that. I didn’t know what a tankie was and I was just legit confused for a minute.
I don’t remember where (sweden?), but there was this zoo with a chimp who was infamous for throwing rocks at guests that annoyed him. He was also observed collecting a small pile of rocks in the morning that he could use as ammo. So not only was he a decent thrower, but he was also making physical preparation to a negative emotion that he was expecting to feel later in the day - a trait previously not associated with animals.
There’d be giant dick indentations on everything as he leaps from building to building. Just imagine you go out to your car and a big ol dick shaped dent on your hood. Oh the humanity!
Does this happen on iOS too? I listen to podcasts every night for an hour and never hear any ads except for the ones encoded with the file, ie sponsor ads.
I think they might be referring to a specific Poscast. They’re generally free and finding one that doesn’t have ads is easy. If it was Spotify they would have asked for Spotify.
And OP is it is Spotify and you’re on amdroid there’s patches apks that block ads.
