I still have one from ~10yrs ago and it still works! Its been through the wars, upgraded RAM and SSD, but it dual boots windows 7 (no judge plz) and ubuntu (i said no judge!).

I use it mostly to watch youtube video guides in the workshop when Im working on stuff and dont want dust and sparks inside my regular laptop.

Same here. Also not ant-vax in general, very much pro-vax for the big three and whatnot. I got 2 vax and a booster willingly, but got sick as a dog all 3 times and missed work each time. The fatigue was crippling. I also got covid twice anyway so thats a bummer, but it wasnt any worse than the post-vax sickness. Maybe the vax reduced the severity of covid, but either way I think Ill pass on getting any more boosters for tbe time being. Ive had plenty of flu vaxes and never had an issue with them.

I get a fairly low-sugar granola, or make my own (see ‘food wishes - granola’ on YT) and portion it into tupperware containers, 1/2 cup each. Then I put on 1/2 cup greek yogurt (the real kind, not the sugar-loaded kind) and freeze like 10 of them at a time. In the morning, i take one, add 1/2 cup oat milk, maybe some extra dry or frozen fruit, and by the time i get to work, its defrosted but still cold, mushy but still crunchy. Should be relatively low in bad sugars and pretty tasty.

My parents were top notch but I was a fucking monster and made their lives hell, and I would not have blamed them for beating the fuck out of me.

I too could have used a 'sperg diagnosis, and they probably could have fostered my civil engineering and architectual design traits better, or given me more books on the subject. From as early as I can remember, I was designing and building detailed models of cities from whatever I could get my hands on. Sand, twigs, blocks of wood from dads carpentry business, cotton thread from mums sewing kit for powerlines, etc. I feel like that was a missed opportunity, now that I work in tech. But at least I have Factorio to scratch that itch.

I’ve actually come up with a way to have a complex and unique password for each service which is also resilient againt forced password changes, doenst require a password manager, and if Im being tortured I still wont be able to tell them what it is because I dont know it unless Im at the login screen. If the service changes the layout of their login screen though, Im fucked.
