That’s just the Roku client (which is what I program for). All it can do is pull data from your Jellyfin server using the server’s API. You’ll need to have the server software running somewhere and point the Roku client to it.

By itself, the Roku client will do nothing.

It’s easier for my needs in part because my family has Roku, and there is a built-in app for Jellyfin on Roku devices.

Works really well mostly though the interface could look slicker.

Our first priority is stability and functionality. Roku’s built-in UI components aren’t the prettiest, so if you want anything “slick” it has to be a custom element and you’ll need to custom code all the behind the scenes logic yourself. That’s a ton of work just for a UI change, so we’re focusing on functionality first.

Yeah, something is failing in playback and it’s simply falling back to the previous screen. I’d suggest posting this to the troubleshooting forum. I’m sure the support team will be happy to help out!

Can you take the lint from your dryer and make clothing?

I know its not quite that simple, I’d have to make thread first, and after I get enough, make clothing out of it. Could this actually be done? I can sew, but never made my own clothing nor have I ever made thread, so I don’t know if it could actually be done or not. I’m 100% sure the time and effort would not be worth it,...

I saw Ghostbusters Afterlife twice. That may be the only movie I’ve seen in theater twice on initial run.

I did see the 3 BTTF movies in theater even though I’ve owned the tapes and DVDs for decades.

Awesome write up!

I remember hearing tales of this movie since the 90s. As a horror fan I built it up in my head as the most extreme, amazing movie I’d never have the opportunity to see.

Then they announced it was coming to DVD!!! I counted down the days and on release day ran to Walmart to pick it up.

I returned it and asked for my money back the next day. The movie just felt gross. I felt slimy having watched it.

So, perhaps that proves the movie is effective, but all I knew is I didn’t want it in my collection nor in my house.
