The study primarily focused on white-Black segregation, the groups that the Brown decision addressed, but found that white-Hispanic and white-Asian segregation both also more than doubled since the late 1980s in the large school districts.
What? You can be white and hispanic. You can be anything and hispanic.
And grammatically, “white-Black” is an abomination. Capitalize both or neither (preferably neither).
EDIT: The number of racists who aren’t aware Africa exists and are downvoting me accordingly is hilarious. Please, continue to demonstrate your unfathomable ignorance.
Not really? They are highlighting two groups who are significant in the statistical analysis. Why would you list results that aren’t statistically significant?
I hope that every one of these women in red states where it is ILLEGAL now, go to prison. They are breaking the law. Choosing to enforce some laws and not others makes a failed country.
When all the people around you are being sent off to prison for doing what should be a federal guaranteed right, maybe you’ll stop voting in the Conservatives. Until then, enjoy prison. Hope you don’t need medical care in prison, because you’ll probably just die.
The world isn’t just black and white, go and read some history.
Are you saying that people who helped the underground railroad should have been jailed too? What about people who helped save lives during the holocaust?
Both admittedly extreme examples, but forcing someone to carry a child they do not want is unjust and cruel.
I think they’re saying that they totally support a woman’s right to an abortion if she needs/wants one and that apparently severe consequences (beyond the ones we’re already experiencing) are the only thing they believe will get people to pull their heads out and stop voting for these monsters. They’re definitely not saying they believe women who have abortions should be in jail. They’re saying draconian abortion laws are ridiculous and if they were enforced with prison then conservatives might finally get it.
I don’t necessarily agree with that stance but that’s what I believe they are saying.
Yes with the additional caveat of when a country picks and chooses when to enforce laws and against whom, the laws are made up. If abortion is illegal, then it’s illegal. Just like choosing to prosecute petty crimes mostly for minorities and ignoring them for others. Choosing to prosecute white collar crimes when there’s a media outrage, but otherwise just paying a civil fine and forgetting about it. This means there isn’t a justice system, it’s rigged.
Many who vote to take rights away from people, are in a protected class of some kind where they believe it won’t affect them. It will only affect people they don’t care about, so who cares? Make them care.
Send all the daughters of suburban white women who are getting mail order abortion drugs illegally, to prison. Right to jail.
Anybody watching back the hit TV series, E.R., observe how earlier in the series during an emergency the docs would ask the nurses for administration of “Oxy” and “Hydro” and later in the series they would ask for “Fent”.
Street names.
Tell me the producers of those drugs did not pay off the producers of the show to fit that in.
Highly addictive drug product placement.
Unreal.
There wasn’t the opioid epidemic we now have when those episodes came out. Those drug companies making synthetic were just getting started.
And there’s no reality. Patient comes in unconscious from an unknown malady and Stamo’s character is like, “Chem 7, CBC, Fent lollipop!”
Interesting. I’m not using an adblocker, and just, on principle do not (and never have) and yet this site is convinced that I am. That’s unfortunate. I’ll be blocking this entire domain.
All slurs are not equal. A slur against a privileged group won’t have nearly the power that one against a disenfranchised one does. That’s why I find “honkey” or “cracker” funny rather than threatening.
