What’s funny sad about South Dakota is that it’s a welfare state. Wouldn’t really exist without fed money. Love the message of “we’ll accept charity but not offer it if we don’t have to”
ROFL Yeah, uh-huh, we all know Rubio and company would love to make Project 2025 a reality. The media is too scared to report on this as they know it will lead to them being scorched off the face of this earth; provided the GOP do win big in elections this November! I’ll be voting aggressively blue to spite those fascists.
Uh, the media is reporting on it. That’s why the GOP are trying to distance themselves from it. It’s too widely known now for them to lie about its existence, so they’re lying about its contents and their involvement in its creation.
Not enough, they need to go in harder with this; After all, we are at the edge of becoming a fascist nation. It puts a lot of people in danger and strips the few protections we have in place against corporate overlords. Every time they talk about Trump Project 2025 needs to be bold and in the face of everyone. That will get some clicks like nothing else. The more that orange swine squeals, the more delightful it will be for me. His whole ghoulish cast needs to be squealing and desperate, this feels like a very halfhearted attempt on their part. They aren’t worried enough.
ROFL They are scraping the bottom of the barrel to secure a potential win this November. It stinks of desperation and I do believe it will hurt them at the polls. We can’t survive a GOP victory and they know it. Just look at some of the poorest states, they are Red States.
My point is that if Trump wins, there will be no use for leftist political projects in 2029. If it’s a political project we should be starting now, and if Trump wins it will need to be a military plan that should start right away.
It depends where you live. In some states they release people from prison that absolutely should not be, and in others they lock up people for things like smoking marijuana. We desperately need to stop criminalizing recreational drugs or drug addiction though unless there are other criminal activity alongside it though, and focus on rehabilitation and healthcare.
Or do the Ronny Jackson thing and declare Biden to be the most fit president in U.S. history with the highest IQ and that he will live to 250 years old.
Despite negative perceptions on the state of the economy, inflation is now much lower than its June 2022 peak of 9.1 percent.
The writers are irresponsible here. They are implying that the public is unaware of inflation, that this is a perception problem. But the reality is, nobody cares about inflation. We care about the cost of living, and we know exactly how that impacts us when we look at our credit cards and bank accounts.
you backhandedly calling for him to drop out only fuels the bullshit media narrative that’s not focused on trump’s myriad of seriously disqualifying incidents OR project 2025.
I’d rather have the media talk about Biden than give Trump EVEN MORE attention. The psychology of advertising has shown that the cliche “All publicity is good publicity” is literally true on a population scale of at least a few thousand. Discussing Biden on the news cycle, positively or negatively, makes him more likely to win more votes. That’s why he will not and should not drop out now.
To be clear: I wish he had stepped aside for a different democratic candidate in 2020. But since then, I don’t believe there was ever a good time to shift attention to a replacement who would be popular enough to beat Trump.
Pickleball sound levels within 100 feet of courts will usually be around 70 dBa with no sound reduction efforts applied. This is as loud as freeway traffic sound.
70dBa is much louder than tennis, and the game should be played on courts that are designed to deal with the sound.
“Telling us to go to one of 16 other courts?” Wysocki said, “I mean, why would we go to another court when our pool is right there? Our homes are right here.”
I could see this being a big problem with indoor tennis courts, but I’m not sure that would be a big deal outdoors, would it? Pretty much every outdoor public tennis court I’ve ever seen was just surrounded by a chain link fence.
I can understand other objections, but that one doesn’t make much sense to me.
The pickle-ball people in the article mention that one of the reasons that they want to use this court, is "our homes are right here.” So it depends on how close those homes are, and what’s between the courts and the houses.
I like pickleball. It’s fun but best understood as human sized ping pong instead of mini-tennis. Imagine the table tennis sound a lot louder. I could imagine ignoring the sound if you like the sport but it grating on you otherwise.
70dba is about what a vacuum cleaner puts out. I doubt anyone is actually bothered by the noise level considering it’s an outdoor sport unless their home literally shares a wall with the court.
