Who wants to remake the government in Christian terms? Where are these pious people?I’ve never seen any. How do their demands line up with Christianity? Otherwise it’s a coup by the 1%. A minority of the population empowered by gerrymandering does not get to dictate policy
I understand there are Christians out there, never have I heard them say they didn’t feel represented. I’ve never seen any pious ones either. Just who is frothing at the mouth ready to “take over”?
Looking from country that is 4 kilometers to the west of USSA, it seems to me that such big amount of violence is caused by deep social problem, not just guns. Especially when compared to another country with relatively avaliable guns - Ukraine, where almost all violence comes from Shoigu.
It’s like watching two school students closed in one room for many years, and the only way to get food it to beat others. With society forcefully cut in half. With two right-wing parties, where “conservatives”’ agenda is destruction of most conservative institute - education, and “left” one is more right-wing than literal Union of Right Forces.
The great default is coming, and credit cards seem to continue to push high limit cards and promotions. A huge reckoning is coming at the meeting of corporate profit targets and personal bankruptcies.
The 2nd+ generation Indian-Americans I've worked with here in the states have been some of the most wonderful people I've ever worked with.
Every single overseas Indian contractor that I've ever had to deal with will lie to you as soon as look at you. Two of our major customers (and you've heard of them) won't even allow Indian subcons to work on any of their projects unless we go over it with such a fine tooth comb that turnkey outsourcing isn't worth the effort.
All because of the constant, pervasive dishonesty.
Completely agreed on all your points. Outsourcing any work to an Indian subcontractor is an absolute no-go for me at this point, I’ve been burned way too many times. I have no idea why it’s like that, but I have to look out for myself and my company.
A 5 point harness like what the pilots wear would be better
But we’re talking about people who couldn’t even wear a little fucking mask outdoors that doesn’t even restrict airflow without having a meltdown and shooting people so….
This isn’t even remotely true. You can own a machine gun in the US, you just need to fill out the proper paperwork and pay the tax. What you can’t do in the US is make new machine guns, which is why bump stocks were controversial because it allowed a person to get around the law and operate a firearm in a manner similar to a machinegun yet still be registered as a semiautomatic.
Weird, I’ve never seen that one. A little unnerving tbh - and a reminder to use good tracking protection! Above is an archive link, and there is actually quite a bit of excellent reporting on this if you want to search for more.
