I only have two memorable questions from customers while I was working at Walmart.
First had a teenager come up and ask if we had sour cream that wasn’t frozen. I ask if she meant refrigerated and she insisted the only sour cream she found was in the freezer. So I go over to the REFRIGERATOR it’s supposed to be in and there it is. I say this isn’t frozen. She gets huffy and says “well, I mean not cold. Do you have sour cream that isn’t kept cold?” No… Nobody does! It’s dairy!
Second was a dude asking me for the “crunchy ice cream” he got last time that he really liked. “What was in it to make it crunchy?” I ask. “Oh nothing, it was just plain vanilla.” 🤨 Thought maybe he wanted dipping dots, but that wasn’t it. All I could assume after that was he got some freezer burned garbage, giving it that icy crunch.

I mean sure, butter can sit at room temp and such; but the store isn’t legally allowed to do that. If those products are kept out of refrigeration for 30 minutes or more, they have to be thrown out. The only shelf stable dairy products you’ll find in this state not kept cold is powdered milk and freeze dried cheese. Or custards and shit like pudding, if those even count as dairy (eggs are considered dairy here).
Sour cream I would think could be kept room temp. Isn’t that how it’s made in the first place? Just leaving cream out to go bad?
They’re legally allowed to keep shelf stable milk unrefrigerated, and it’s totally normal here. Same for eggs. We don’t bleach our eggs though like some places.
This is a big reason Google wanted to push the whole “web integrity” thing. There would have been no way to use an adblocker after that and they would have won the blocking wars. It’s bad enough they’re gimping Chromium with Manifest v3, but they tried for it all.

Yes, but Android Auto does need some work on the car OS side to operate, i.e. within Android Automotive in this example (although Blackberry QNX is probably more common these days, automakers are moving away from it)

Nothing against the open source software at all. It’s the fact that the Arduino is a consumer experimentation board, not an automotive rated component. I’m concerned for the reliability of the Arduino under the operating conditions of an automobile.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard that fastener called an Allen bolt, just the tool (Allen key). I’ve generally heard them called hex sockets heads. Maybe it’s a regional thing?
In Dutch they are called “inbus”, which apparently comes from the German name “Innensechskantschraube Bauer und Schaurte”, where Innensechskantschraube means inside six sided screw and Bauer und Schaurte is the company who patented the screw type.
That’s not true when working internationally, since it can have different names in different nations. In Italy is Brugola, in Germany Inbus and in other places it has other names. Everyone understands what a hex key is though

Well I mean… Not exactly limited to girls. Who doesn’t like a nice shiny rock? Nobody, that’s who. Show me one person who claims to not have at least one good rock somewhere in their house. Can’t do it can yeh? Didn’t think so.
One of my exes gave me a pebble, and said something about penguins giving a partner a pebble and they keep it for life. Pretty sure I lost it after a couple of weeks, and found a similar looking one and she never caught on ¯_(ツ)_/¯
My wife is big time into labradorite. It’s cool as hell, when it catches the light you can see gleams of blue or orange amongst the green. I actually recently got her a labradorite engagement ring and wedding band to replace the cheap, simple silicone ring she wears because of her job that she’ll be leaving in the near future.
