The mind of a gambling addict is a sick sick mind. I’d like to think that if I came out 2000% richer, I would hold and walk away and be happy with that.
but gambling addicts come up with all these rationalizations like you mentioned. rationalizations that make them keep gambling No matter how much they’ve won or lost and they are never satisfied.
Is that how it’s supposed to be? I have had many customers drag me out to breakfast claiming to have the best biscuits and gravy, and it’s always the same tasteless crap. My family in America have too. Are they all just THAT basic?

I think that the downvotes come from a place of not understanding what this comment tries to imply, hence not adding anything to the conversation.
For example. Someone can read this and think “Context matters, so that’s why Hamas did what they did, and what they did is fine and I stand with them”
Another person could read “Context matters, it doesn’t matter what Isarael did before, Hamas still did something unforgivable and Israel is still right and I stand with them”
Ultimately, at least for me, it’s hard to see what you’re trying to say with this comment, especially when the situation is so nuanced. At least that’s how I saw it.

Also they tend to be fairly bullet proof too. You have to shoot them in this small area on the top of their head to kill em quickly. Otherwise they’ll live a while shooting back at you.
