The symbiont would be, and the Trill’s spots would only present when the two joined. As the symbiont grew older, their spots would increase in number, so later hosts like Jadzia would have more spots than earlier hosts. Like rings in a tree.
Particularly, why are they so desperately pushy about it? WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE IN IT FOR THEM???...
So many trackers are down right now, even the I2P tracker. Did the government do it?
Edit: I’ve made an account here on lemmy.ml as I routinely can’t comment or post from my account on lemmy.world....
There does not seem to exist like a single, complete solution for this that everyone agrees is the way to go… or maybe I did not look hard enough....
Let’s Talk About Games...
I’ve tried using it over the years but I never liked it because there was no information. So last night I looked at my local city and there is almost no information at all. I spent a few hours last night adding buildings and restaurants and removing incorrect items. It was actually kind of fun and therapeutic and I plan to do...
Given the shared underlying protocol, I didn’t like that if I saw something interesting on Mastodon, and wanted to post it on Lemmy, I’d have to screenshot it and/or re-attribute it to me rather than the original author....
I came up with this a couple minutes ago. I think its funny and maybe helpful? Please be gentle. Have a good one....
Hi friends, I managed to get a few services running (Mobilizon, Mastodon, PeerTube etc.), and I’m just now realizing that by default none of these federated networks are subscribed to anything?...
Top 10-25 games articles are all the same and obvious. Are there some less known or even obscure games, including bad-that-it’s-good ones, we can have fun with? What’s your experience with them? Bonus points if you played via an emulator.
I am trying to complete a few web-based projects as well as a developer portfolio. I am also learning C from scratch. I would appreciate it if I had an opportunity to take part in an open-source project that is based on system programming, or something like that.
For context: I recently set up a Funkwhale instance for Communick subscribers, where people can upload their music collection, stream on mobile/web and share with their friends. That’s useful already and can be thought of as a replacement to the original Google Play Music, but I guess that those with large music collections...
I am not affiliated, just like music from both sides
I remember when BreachForums was up, I just stumbled across it somehow, but I’m having trouble finding sites like that. You don’t have to post the actual hacking sites in the comments, I’m just wondering what tools or sites you goto to find them.
I’m curious about building cat toys that are impractically over complicated with Arduino/Maker stuff. Thus the casual curiosity about persistence of vision. I wonder if other animals have something like a different internal clock frequency where the image only forms at higher (or lower) frequencies than most humans.
The short version of the Unix philosophy is basically, “Do one thing, and do it well”....
The cheap one I had broke, so I’m looking to get a better one without paying for things I didn’t need. Photography equipment gets expensive…...
As in title. Do you know any good alternative i2p trackers?
Edit: wow, this is a never ending comment section!
It’s a curious thing. I’m not dismissing any of their claims, but I find it a bit interesting that they can so easily uncover everything that the government doesn’t want you to know when it’s hidden for a reason.
Hi guys! I have a Desktop with Nobara, and open source mesa drivers for my 7800XT. When I try to run the webui.sh launcher, I get a segfault when trying to create the model. Is there a way to run it with open source drivers? Or without having to uninstall them? Can both privative and open source drivers coexist? This is mostly...
