Incorrect. But let's assume you are. This means you cannot: Buy a house, buy a car, take out a loan, get a credit card. For expanded uses, you cannot potentially: keep a credit card, rent a car, rent a home, get a job. Credit scores are made up bullshit invented in the 80s to hurt poor people. But they are still used to, get this, hurt poor people. Rich people don't have credit scores because they have collateral for all their loans that's a lot more liquid than a house.

No. If gravity on such a small scale affected us, we'd have evolved to incorporate it as many animals do for navigate, or evolve to ignore it. We did the latter, if it was ever necessary. The gravity of the earth is many magnitudes greater. And you can prove that the shifting gravity from the moon is moot by the sheer fact that you can sleep on your back, either side, or stomach and not feel inverse affects. You can even move around through the night, like the moon does.

Also the tides thing is half right. About half as strong in tidal energy is the sun. Solar tides exist. So the question would also need to be "does the sun's gravity affect us?" And the answer is the same as before.

They are attempting to extract as much wealth as possible before the collapse. I don't know what they're planning on doing with money if a collapse happens. Even a partial collapse would cause massive inflation making their dollars worthless if they don't transfer it out to something else. Unfortunately the Petrodollar exists so it's likely the collapse of the US dollar would trigger worldwide collapse.

It is and I think it makes them into not jump scares. But here's a good description. Slight spoilers for a small section of dlc.

In the DLC, there are stealth sections. Alien creatures patrol certain areas that you need to sneak by. Normally, if they notice you, they will turn on their lights to get a better look at you, creep up slowly, then charge you with a scary sound effect very quickly. Spooky music starts playing, and you get killed. With this setting on, they will no longer turn on their lights. This means they will only see you if you have your light on. Secondly, they will no longer charge you. Instead, they walk VERY slowly towards you. It's quite easy to avoid them like this. Finally, if they do catch you, no scary music, and no creepy sound effects will play. They still kill you, but the animation leading into it is much more gentle and it's not scary at all. The "killing" animation is just them blowing out a candle you're holding.

The issue is that wizards can instantly wage a guerilla war. All it takes is Muggle Studies being taken seriously and integration in muggle society. Then it's impossible to identify them. Wandless magic could be a focus to be certain you're never carrying an identifying marker.

Then the wizards don't need to attack. They can destabilize the economy by duplicating money, precious resources, etc. These will deteriorate eventually but cause chaos and devalue the economy for a time. Imagine taking a $100 bill and just duplicating it to prop up your car-wash business as a front. But that's baby-level chicanery.

The real sauce is the mind-control. Imperio (who cares if it's unforgivable when you're at war?) and more importantly the Memory Charm and False Memory spells. Let's just get in there, stun a very important person (start low, work up) and insert the memories you need to get them to act accordingly. Remove the memories of that transaction and boom! Access to the most powerful people in the world and the ability to influence them. Now a wizard has their finger (remotely) on the nuclear button!

This means if you ate 1 hot dog every other day continuously, a man's odds of contracting colorectal cancer changes from 4.35% to 5.13% over their lifetime.
