It depends on what you’re buying. For me.it’s not as much about the review its more about the product info.and price. For books or eletronics online is better because you don’t need to see the product as much as you need technical.information.

For Clothes, perfume, fresh food etc I prefer to go to a store since it’s important to see it. Clothes are always a problem when they don’t fit and if I’m goingo to have to return it (if it doesn’t fit) it’s just faster to go to a store.

Sometimes prices are a thing too, it can be a lot cheaper online and unless you’re rich this does make a difference

Yes. The better the role the more interviews. I had 5 to get in to the job I am right now but it was such a good oportunity that I didn’t care. The hiring process took a total of 6 months. Usually you have the first with HR, than one with the manager, than maybe one with the managers boss and other stakeholders

I’m a woman so I was never in a situation like this. I have more than few trans friends, including my neaphew god-father (that used to be his god-mother) and the problem with this meme is that the 👍is never the answer the comunity gives. They are indeed always very angry and are usually the first ones to say “transphobic”. As I told my friend I think that we should use the word Transphobic with more care since there are a lot of really hateful people in the world that do indeed want to hurt you guys,.

The thing is, for AI to work we still need hardware, houses, food etc. Yes a lot of jobs will change but other new type of jobs will come.

adding to it. As someone that just went through the process of hiring a new person for a tech job, idgaf about college degree. I do care about their Certifications or experience. Some paths that are hiring are.penTester, coding and Cloud Admin. Also GenAI is.opening a lot of new possibilities. All of those you can learn from Youtube if you really want to and then invest in a certification.

ps: remember that education lasts forever. YT influencers don’t.

As someone hiring i would hire someone with a degree in arts and 10 years experience (in the field I’m hiring to) instead of someone that graduate in tech but only worked in other areas, so if I’m hiring to a junior position and there is a person without a degree but with certifications and some practical experience I would give he a chance for sure.

The truth is that any work you learn on the job. Even doctors have to.do residencies because school won’t teach them for real.

If you are already going to a school keep going, but also invest some money in practical knowledge, like certification in specific tools and solutions or coding in languages that are needed, not the ones that are popular (for exemple the older generation is retiring and nobody knows COBOL)

Research what the industry is looking for ( like big company ads) and how it’s paying for each position, choose a path and invest some hours in that specific knowledge.

I was cleaning out a chemical storage closet at work. A hydrogen chloride container leaked out onto some iodine containers. I picked one up (bare handed) and sat it down in the grass. About thirty seconds later, I noticed the steam boiling up from around the bottom of the container. This is about 45 seconds worth of contact.

Look people are going to come at me for this, but I’m not american and for me disney world was literally the most magical place I’ve ever been. I went there about 4 or 5 times during my life and everytime I was amazed. By the perfection of everything, the power to make you forget your problems, how every tiny detail is thought about… also how everything is incredibly expensive. Idk, maybe americans have access to a lot of theme parks but I don’t and I love the rides and how sometimes we have to stop and look 2 or 3 times to understand how they did something.

yes. Celiac disease is usually the one thing we hear people talk about when they can’t eat gluten, so I never thought about alergies with shock response
