Yea, I plan to go again in the next year and in CAD it’s about $2500 for flights for four, $2750 for five days of tickets, $1200 offsite accommodations, plus food and local transportation.

There are other ways to go, to stay on park or get package deals but $7000 seems about right for a family of four.

Everyone is reporting he won’t see jail time, which in my view is giving the court a pass on giving him a light sentence.

In my opinion, Trump gained so much, and could gain so much from a repeat offense, that jail is the only compelling punishment for him. He is unrepentant, and would do it again in a heartbeat.

I love when owners give a sassy response, or when a one star review tells a story about the owner that makes me laugh.

My favorite local pizza shop is several generations family run, everything from scratch, and everything is done a certain way. I know everyone who works there and has ever worked there, and when me and the boys read this review, even though we all moved away, we knew it was true because it’s completly on brand.

We’re experimenting with retrieval augmented generation for early inquiries right now. We get hundreds of inquiries that could be answered by looking at the website/docs and Q&A models with extractive or abstract approaches, or newer generative approaches are good at handling them.

Looked at four models last week, 2 vendors and 2 open source solutions, it’s very promising. Very high accuracy with extractive approaches to simple queries, an email answering bot that links to our live website, along with an offer to talk to a real person could help us out a lot.

I use sci-hub because it is quicker and easier than logging into my multiple affiliation’s library accounts, navigating through their janky web portals and search tools, and then finding out I need to switch to a different account/library /catalogue /whatever to read the paper.

What should I add to my '90s website?

So I'm currently toying around with NeoCities, and decided to trial it by building your classic mid '90s Geocities/Tripod/Angelfire pastiche website.

Some of the most important elements are already in place.

Tile background? Large font? Heading in bright pink with a shadow? Unusual colour choices? Random cat gifs? Under construction gif? Check! Check! Check!

In the true spirit of the '90s DIY web, some more pages (including the links page) are coming soon.

(I'm thinking of adding a page dedicated to either Britney or a nu-metal band.)

There are a few things that I want to add to make it complete, and I'm looking for suggestions.

The first, is to embed a midi file that plays automatically. Any suggestions on the best way of doing this?

Finally, anything else that really needs to be a part of a great '90s website?
