Again, I was not talking about 'curing' anything with the objective of being accepted by NTs. I was talking about controlling some signs autistic people can find a burden for themselves.

Are we forgetting that Musk has an electric car company and used to have a solar company (since been absorbed into Tesla). He doesn’t just want to go to Mars, he does a lot of other stuff as well. Also why should billionaires be responsible for UBI and healthcare? If Musk would spend all his money on healthcare, you’d have healthcare for about three months before he is bankrupt. That kind of stuff is the governments job.

I trialled the self hosted NextCloud for a while, but the quality of apps is just meh. So instead I bought a Synology NAS. Turned out their apps are actually on par with Google. And you own everything.
Kind of, you can share individual albums so it is possible to share all but one. This may or may not be practical though depending on your album structure.

...unless the setup I am thinking of is already possible, let me construct this in your head:
On the top of the screen, there is narrow status bar, which is split into two parts. On the right side of the bar, you have your clock, your battery, your signal strength and so on.
On the left side, there is a clickable tab for every window you have opened. It's like browser tabs: Every window always uses the entire space below the status bar.
On the far left, there could be an icon which opens a searchable list of applications, kind of like #dmenu but vertical. Everything supports mouse input as you would expect.
Does that exist? Should I make it? It would be awesome for smaller screens, like phones.
Edit: I should add that I'm planning to run it on a Nokia N900 with a single 600 MHz CPU core, 256 MB RAM and a resolution of 800×480 pixels. Existing full desktop environments like Xfce4, LXDE, and so on are way to heavy to run.
Unless you wanna write your own window manager (all the power to you!) almost any barebones window manager can pretty much be customised to meet your needs with their scripting APIs.

Meshtastic just forwards your requests through other peoples devices until it gets where it needs. It acts as a big repeater system. I haven’t experimented with it much outside of just sending messages. I think you are able to transfer actual small files but that’s the limits.
@linux I just switched from windows 10 to Ubuntu Studio last Saturday, just wrapped up the transition yesterday. I love Linux. It is how a computer should be. I lost access to my audio interface, Keyscape VST and Valorant, but I have gained so much more. The Terminal is so much better than Windows neutered offering

Yeah there is just so much choice now with Linux audio, all of those above are good for beginners. My son regularly uses Guitarix and hydrogen when he is working on something new, before the band get together with the real hardware. Ardour is a great introductory DAW that people can learn before they move on to something like Reaper or pro tools.
With the introduction of pipewire as well recently, the whole Alsa, jack, pulse nightmare is rapidly looking like a thing of the past.
Well I don’t necessarily mean copy the graphics, but more of the gameplay of that era. A N64/GameCube-like title with modern graphics is what I’m looking for.
Normally you use a separate AP to do that. BSDs don’t normally have good support for WiFi cards. Consumer WiFi cards aren’t really meant for use as APs anyway.
Not sure how long it was going before the fire department arrived, but it was maybe ten minutes between when I heard the sirens and the fire was under control.
