This seems like the kind of thing where the justice department could be exerting pressure and building a federal case. I’d be interested to see what kinds of emails are flying around behind the scenes.
In a fair and just world, the leader of the body would be put into prison until the Court's decision was applied. Each new leader would come to this fate until the situation was rectified to the ruling's satisfaction. Essentially, it's a contempt of court condition, and the person in charge is responsible for satisfying the order. That's why they're in charge, and why they (at least in most cases) get paid more.
We seem to have forgotten that actions should have consequences other than trivial fiscal or paper declaration penalties.
Yeah I live here & had the unfortunate opportunity to hear the Dept of Ed try to spin this in an interview. Their spokesperson said, to paraphrase, that “No, of course not. These standards are evenhanded and show the good and the bad from an objective perspective.”
Of who? I am just so sad - my oldest kids made it though during the brief shining period of good education in my county, but I have one with a couple of years left, who is seeing it plunge back into the bullshit ‘education’ that was what I suffered through. Just butts in seats, indoctrinate don’t educate, that might lead to thinking.

too tired? from what im seeing the vast majority of people just don’t care. they are fine with thier internet becoming more expensive and handing everything to these companies. most simply think this is the only option.
From my experience, brother in law hates it. Wants to cancel but the kids (2 preteens) watch it a lot and he just doesn’t want to use something new that he has to relearn to be comfortable leaving them alone with.
