One of my college professors was involved in the development program for ~4 years, and said it was (one of?) the most stressful experiences of his life.
Major General Craig Olson, he (and his wife) are some of the most caring people I’ve met, I’m sure the weight of managing a program like that was a lot to bear. Looks like he left the program shortly after the March 2006 accident. He presented on some of the engineering challenges they faced and solved in the program (especially failure modes), but my memory is hazy.
it’s because they’re racist, and the long for a return to the days of open, de jure racism. they believe treating anyone other than cishet white christians as fully human is a violation of god’s intended order for the world. they’re monsters.
Maybe his cellmates will view losing control of the sword and getting stabbed in the back with it as a very unmanly, incel thing unbecoming of a brand new prison bitch in need of some attitude adjustment. Life behind bars could be just the beginning for this one.
HRW may very well be right here, but if the only investigation the police does after a homicide is talk to some witnesses… but you know, never actually check for fingerprints, or in this case… analyze fragments from the rocket, then I’m not going to go all in and say that they’ve done much of a report. How convenient that people act like this is all the proof they need without even reading what they actually examined.
