If those same puritan-minded people who want to criminalize LGBTQ+ people also fuck couches for fun, everyone deserves to know about it. They don’t stay out of our personal lives, why the fuck should I afford them any privacy? They don’t respect our humanity, why should I respect their dignity just because couch-fucking is victimless?

The mistake Republicans made wasn’t in standing against Biden, it was in failing to stand for anything else. If J.D. Vance drops out of the election, I am not going to be out of political ammunition. In fact, J.D. Vance should and probably will drop out and I’m not worried about if he does, because Trump isn’t going to choose a good running mate no matter what.
In fact, changing the running mate after the RNC destroys their argument that it is somehow improper for Democrats to change their nominee before the DNC, so while they play checkers, we’re playing chess.
You think he will drop out? I’m not sure what’s going to happen - our political situation is beyond sane prediction - but I feel like dropping out would be admitting a mistake, and I just don’t see either Trump or Vance wanting to do that. I feel like they will ride that decision right into November.

I think the Dems found the:“why not both?” meme when it comes to politics against the maga Republicans, who gave up on competing on policy years ago. They’ve only been competing by creating these dumb “culture wars” and ad hominem attacks of opponents. There is no principled position, there is no good faith arguments, there is no limit to their hypocrisy.
The Democrats have been getting beat on messaging for years too.
What I think we are seeing now is a sea change. The Democrats have wildly popular policy and positions on most things. They win on policy.
And now they arent letting the Republicans get away with being “weird” hypocritical unprincipled lunatics that lack substance. They aren’t ceding the field on the “manipulation” that Republicans have been engaging in for years. Call them weird. Call them old. Call them criminals.
If they hit below the belt, hit back. If they stay on the high road, meet them there. But as soon as they want to mudsling, slap em in the face with a well deserved mud pie.
When democracy is at stake you can’t afford to lose an election because you wanted to avoid calling a couch-fucking creep, weird.
I’ll also add, I think the reason you are seeing such a ground swell in Democrat support and a dogpile on JD Vance is the pent up frustration of years of Dems being doormats and not squaring up and fighting back.

Like, if the threat is persistent and reasonably considered to be causing bodily harm, then reasonable escalating force, up to lethal, should be legal correct? Intent and innocence of the perps intentions does not absolve them in court of law… So if we consider the fetus a person and they are causing harm without stopping when prompted the mother should be legally afforded to defend herself, no?
Careful of what you wish for. I look forward to a future court case that establishes once and for all the definition of a person. Although, with the current Supreme Court, I do admit some hesitation.
I mean, if you want to establish rights for a fetus, what do you do when that fetus belongs to a “Mexican”? What do you do if a pregnant American moves to another country without the permission of the fetus? Not to say these are legit examples, but the courts will fill with bizarre cases like this.
More interestingly, what do you do when science stands up in court and establishes a fact that opposes your belief? Your beliefs have gotten you this far. It’s very plausible that you will lose some of the ground you’ve gained.

Nice, at least there is some opportunity cost since the last time.
But no mention of a fine of any size. The listed models have no safety issues according to the investigations that took place - by the company making and selling the product.

I don’t understand why people seem to hate this bot. I’ve seen commenters saying MBFC itself is biased but without actually providing any sources which is sort of ironic, and one bright spark vowed to downvote it every time because “they’re begging for donations”
There are people here with a wide range of opinions held very strongly. So of course the bot is going to be a blessing to some and nefarious and evil to others. Apparently like the leader of Hamas.
I’m not a fan of the format personally. It looks like crap on my client and takes up half the screen when the relevant information only really needs a line or two. I think the information is useful but I’m still on the fence about blocking it because it’s quite the eyesore.
McDonald’s is just a joke at this point. Pretty much stopped getting food from them except for breakfast once in a while, but even stopped that. My usual is a Sausage and Egg McMuffin with extra cheese. It costs a whopping $6.08 in my area.
I said🖕you greedy McCunts, I’m making my own and found a copycat recipe that is really, really good and I honestly can’t tell the difference. I bought ingredients to make 12 sandwiches at $1.73 each and even had two extra patties leftover. A savings of $4.35 per!
Of course we are not including my labor costs, yada yada, but it proves the point. Not to mention McDonald’s pays pennies on the dollar buying in bulk, so even with labor, they are making a killing.
