It allows any member of the board to review any “election related” documents. Yeah, that won’t be abused to slow down the certification process if their guy doesn’t win. The loan democrat points out the job of this board is just to certify the votes were counted, not to investigate if anything was done illegally (the Sec of State does that), but of course minor things like that don’t matter.
The big brown doe eyes are one feature I find super attractive, but there is something else about the post thumbnail I can’t quite articulate. The bangs and framing are one subtle element as are the vibrant saturated colors. What else do you see in the image that makes her so striking in style and symmetry either on practical terms or in terms of human social psychology/neotenic features… or perhaps it is the golden ratio in this particular still.
In my county there were 2 cities that set new all time record high temps of 115 F/46+ C last week. I’d be shocked if it was the last record this year for us.
Not quite. You need a quorum of senators present, and more affirmative votes than negative.
Having said that, if this actually was a viable vote with 49 senators supporting, you would probably see more vote. Although, I suspect there are at least a few senate Republicans who would at least abstain to let it pass.
Are they at least asking for the financial details of the businesses? I remember noting that a lot of the issue with private equity was how opaque their finances were.
some of us are screaming into the void; the rest are supporting a president who gives token gestures to the environment on one hand while simultaneously blocking affordable green energy products and ramping up oil production in the name of maintaining the status quo on the other.
Like the case in Kent, WA a few weeks ago where a Ln off work security guard murdered a teen who was returning an airsoft pistol to a sporting goods store because he thought he was going to rob the place. He is being charged with murder. It should be no surprise that the victim had brown skin which likely played into why the guy thought he was going to rob the place. I’m sure the guy wanted to be the good guy and save the day but he had access to a gun and became a murderer instead.
We should never assume the best in cases of homicide. The cops have taught us that quite clearly. Maybe he wanted to be a hero, or maybe he wanted an excuse to shoot someone and took the first chance he got.
