There have been concerns of a real estate crash in China for several years, with different problems than the potential real estate crash that could happen here in the United States.

Not even close. The people who matter in terms of political power are muscovites. And in Moscow, everything looks fine and beautiful and modern and convenient. You wouldn’t know a war was raging on except for the propaganda. Yes, I know some drone attacks have disrupted that, but not nearly enough.
I hope she lives a long life full of mystery and pain, but she’ll probably be isolated from general population. I’m not sure how the British penal system compares to the US.
I was just thinking the same thing. I couldn’t find if she’s been segregated for the last 11 months she’s been in jail. She has been in four different prisons, and there’s speculation she’ll be put on 24 hour suicide watch until sentencing. In the US you always hear that most inmates, and especially ones with nothing to lose will retaliate against people who harm kids. Is that something that happens in the UK? I’m guessing yes.
It’s always funny to me that businesses think we’re responsible for their success. Not my problem to keep your business alive, it’s yours, and ultimately, I’m trying to exploit & scam your business just as much as you’re trying to do the same to me.
I feel like these people are incredibly disingenuous. If I’m in a hot car and want to make an exaggerated example out of what I think is bad design, I act like these people. If I’m in a hot car, stuck and panicking, I’m thinking about how much a window costs for about half a minute, and then I break a window.
It's actually not very easy to break car windows out from inside a car without a tool. You can do it, but it's harder than you'd think (like, I wouldn't want to try doing it in a car which fell into a lake or something).
Exactly what happens with school shootings as well. People wonder “Why did kids go shoot up schools? They must have been influenced by the [group name]!” And then they do a 24 hour news cycle where they dig up every single thing about the shooter and try to find a deeper meaning in their actions. If you were a kid being bullied all the time and you saw that on the news, of course you’d think “Wait a minute. I can make them all pay??”. Kids are crazy impressionable. Adults aren’t much better, though.
There are different types of average, median being one of them. What you are thinking of as the average, is probably the mean. Median, mean and mode are all types of average.
Trump has made a great litmus test for shitty humans. They even wear hats so we don’t have to waste our time trying to find out their beliefs through dialogue.
Half of all people are dumber than the median. I am assuming the mean is actually higher than the median so chances are way more than half of all people are dumber than what people normally think of when they think average.
