Don’t forget the needless implementation of always-online single player games. Even for single/multiplayer games like PoE or anything Diablo, there’s literally no technical need to have a connection. It’s just fancy DRM for Blizzard and an excuse to milk you more microtransactions for PoE.
And before anyone regurgitates Blizzard’s BS about anti-cheat, it’s very possible to keep multiplayer characters on the server and single player on your computer and never have them interact or permit single player loot to be sold on their marketplace. Not to mention their regular online check for D2R. Blizzard has ALWAYS used aggressively hostile DRM. If they could virus bomb thieves’ computers then they absolutely would.
Just in case you missed it: there have been serious accusations against Till Lindemann, the singer of Rammstein, recently. Apparently his band managers contact young female Rammstein fans on social media before concerts, inviting them to secret after show parties where they get lots of alcohol and Till can choose one to drug even more and take to bed with him. Multiple women have come forward with similar claims and the social media thing has been well documented as far as I know. The case went to court but was dropped because there wasn’t enough proof and now he acts like nothing ever happened. I think everyone listening to the band should know about this.

Besides your point beeing incredibly idiotic, there is also way more to the story, like abuse of power. If you bring somone behind 3 lines of massive bouncers and take their phones away basically nothing you do afterwards has anything to do with consent.
While the allegations are serious, we cannot keep spreading rumors that have not been shown true. It’s a work for the justice system to determine the guilt. Obviously I am against sexual abuse, but social media is not a justice system and there is a huge risk for innocent to be lynched.

As others already pointed out, none of the woman accusing Lindemann was willing to go to court with their claims. Even tho, that so far it looks like everything he did was legal you can still talk about him absuing the power he has over his fans. I kinda doubt, that a lot of girls would say no, if a 40 year older rock superstar asks for sex. Legally speaking she may gave her consent, but morally I think that he devinetively abused his power and status.

I know nothing about it except that memes indicate people like it. I’m usually on board with a DreamWorks or Pixar movie but I’d mentally sorted this one into the ‘not for me’ category along with Minions for some reason (not intending to compare the two).
Yes, the first one is goofy but it did the whole “what would an actually average person do with superhero powers” shtick before it was cool, and managed to make it funny and pretty sweet too.
IMHO…fuck yes! It’s a funny and clever movie that should’ve gotten more recognition but was overshadowed by other releases that same year. As a grown man on the edge of 40 it’s one of my favorite movies and never fails to get a laugh. Endlessly quotable, lots of clever little jokes and gags that are hilarious when you notice them.
I’d say it’s absolutely worth at least one watch and if you like it enough to watch it again you’ll definitely notice some things that you didn’t the first time around and get a whole new set of laughs.
