If I have Linux installed on an SSD and I plug it into a Windows computer (a PC which I did not use to install linux onto the SSD), would I be able to use linux in that PC from the SSD?

I have an old laptop which didn’t exactly have top of the line specs when I bought it back in 2016. It does, however, run Ubuntu pretty competently (yes I know there are better distros, no I am not going to use them). It was cheap.
