I am asking why you are talking about Zionism on a post that isn’t about Zionism. If you do not think all Jews and Zionists are the same then why are you bringing it up here and now?
Slightly off topic, but wasn’t there a general purpose boycott app? One that allowed one to figure out the political stance behind products. Initially it was marketed as the anti-woke app, but further investigation showed that anti-woke was only one profile of many you could subscribe to.
The books aren’t offensive. The historical actions they are about are offensive. Repugnant actually. Learning about them means we might be less likely to repeat them. Banning them makes it much more likely. And that is the reason they were banned.
I guarantee you every member of Congress used their classified briefings on Israel to make changes in their stock portfolio, and it’s not even illegal.
Quit fucking trying to justify your actions, because you got in shit for them. Didn’t want flack? Gee, maybe you shouldn’t have blown up hospital with civilians and terrorists in it.
Harden also writes that he knows “from first hand experience that Hamas shot at innocent Gazan civilians trying to escape firefights.”
I don’t think anyone at this point is debating if Hamas are a bunch of massive shitbags.
goes on to point out that under international law, health establishments lose their protected status if they are “used to interfere directly or indirectly in military operations.”
Just because you CAN bomb a hospital, doesn’t mean you should. Why the fuck do I even have to type this? Attempted justification like this is gaslighting, pure and simple. "
Link specifically to some that support your claim? You made the claim, you support it.
You mentioned it happened in this thread. Show me please? You also said it’s in lemmy in general, honestly please share some evidence or take your statement elsewhere where people will take you on face value.
How so? It seems to consist basically entirely of direct quotes. So unless they misquoted or are leaving out some massively important context, I can't see how it would be biased.
Norway’s prime minister says the Israeli army’s response to the deadly Hamas attack that killed 1,400 people and saw over 230 abducted by terrorists has been disproportionate, and denounces a “catastrophic” humanitarian situation in Gaza.
No mention of the mass killings and displaced people of Palestine. The quotes were convenient for the narrative, all the stories on the website follow the same narrative. No mention of innocent Palestinians and Israel people who don’t support the war. Just how they have to get Hamas and need funds to support the war.
It’s a great app, unfortunately it’s not open-source. According to the Exodus report, it contains some tracking SDKs, but their network activity can be blocked in DNS. It also displays an ad banner by default, but this can easily be turned off in the settings.
For those not familiar with the geography of the area, the West Bank is significantly larger than the Gaza Strip, and it is not a contiguous region. It is made up of Palestinian villages and cities separated by illegal Israeli settlements that were purposely placed in and between the Palestinian land to minimize the ability of Palestinians to control themselves and their security.
A large-scale attack in the West Bank at the level of the genocide in Gaza would be absolutely catastrophic for every single person living in the region. It would be devastating and unforgivable. Which I’m sure is the point.
