I’m well known for borking my arch installations, not long ago I was struggling with Grub because apparently I have terrible reading comprehension and kept creating a boot partition with boot flags (EFI) and then installing Grub for my BIOS system… Not that I didn’t know it was BIOS, I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to flag the partition as bootable.
My head still hurts from the constant bashing against the keyboard and the facepalm upon realizing my stupidity.
I still manually partition my system because I’m a control freak. Fortunately I haven’t had to look at partition tables for a long time now.
Archinstall rocks, though installing Arch manually at least once or twice first is an incredibly valuable educational experience. I wouldn’t have known what an fstab file was, and I realized just how important that was when I moved some data from a partition into another with dd. I manually reconfigured the fstab and the dopamine jolt I got from successfully doing that is unforgettable (of course, after 2 hours of scrambling on the internet because I borked something again)
This is where a bunch of American Lemmintons get confused because they’ve misunderstood what liberalism is all along, thanks to their media telling them anti-woke conservatives are “libs”.
I’ve been looking to eliminate disposable plastic razors but yikes those prices are steep! Are they permanently sharp or something? There is zero info on their website unless I’m missing something
It’s a fancy handle (admittedly, very fancy) for safety razor blades or double edge blades. The blades themselves are generic/interchangeable and a lot cheaper.
It was mainly a joke. Just thinking of the most expensive, esoteric, unattainable maker I could think of from back in my r/wetshaving days. Safety razors are the best way to shave, but just about anything will do great
For what it’s worth I’ve used the same merkur safety razor for around a decade with feather blades I only had to replace every several weeks when I had a coarse beard. I use the same on my legs now and it still works amazing. Best shave I’ve ever had, since my beard was too cowlicked to use a straight razor. They’re easy to use, give a closer shave than cartridge razors, and they’re way less irritating. You totally don’t have to spend $300 if you don’t want to.
My Post Civil War American History professor told us that the enemy pilots used to wave to each other as they flew past each other. Then one day some asshole pulled out his revolver and shot the guy waving at him, and that’s when they started mounting guns on airplanes.
Waving at each other just shows how fucked up society was at the time:
“Sure, you’re spotting for the artillery that’ll kill hundreds of my countrymen, but they’re only peasants. Us two, we’re nobles.”
The judge would never say that, anyway. Nearly everyone has a right to represent themselves, although she might have been implying that SovCit was not mentally competent enough to be allowed to do so.
SovCit insisted they weren’t the defendant, but was their representative; judge played along and refused to let this non-defendant represent the actual defendant as they are not an attorney.
Either agree you are actually the defendant, or come back as a licensed attorney. In the mean time, the court can assume the defendant hasn’t/wont appear and proceed accordingly. (default judgement, bench warrant, or whatever else is applicable to this case)
