Seems like the right side should be classic terminal tools like ed. Or any other cat/echo/etc where you change the contents of the file without opening it (or all of it) directly.
Edit: guys I know that Brave is not the best browser and I wouldn’t recommend it, but I haven’t seen studies or in depth articles about technical details of privacy concerns.

Um, what? Apple makes shitty design decisions to manipulate their consumer base. These regulations prevent them from doing that. These regulations mean the consumers win. Apple still has branded braindead consumers, but at least they went be able to scam them on batteries headphones and chargers as easily.
Videos encoded with AV1 are smaller and look better on lower bitrates so you save some bandwidth. I noticed it’s also a bit less straining on the CPU which is nice if you wanna save some battery juice if you’re on a laptop without a dGPU.
As far as I can tell there isn’t actually that much? The only instance that really hosts it front and center is lemmyNSFW, and thats pretty small compared to most other spots

I was permanently suspended from Reddit as a whole for hate speech because in an /r/hockeyplayers “chirp” thread a guy posted a picture of his white skates and I asked if his husband had a matching pair.
It was insensitive, but that’s what chirp threads are for.
I don’t own a car and walk or bike everywhere I need to. I buy clothes and things I need second hand and support local shops when it comes to food and drink. I live in a small apartment/flat and recycle everything I can.
I don’t even care about the state of the world anymore. I’ve given up - the world is fucked. Can’t do anything about it, and I’m doing everything I can - so I’ll just carry on and live my life. Yeah, people will be fucked down the line, but what am I supposed to do more than what I’m already doing?
Talk about it and get angry. Show your sphere of influence how concerned you are; friends and family will pay more attention to you than they will to any scientist, celebrity or politician.
I'm somewhat in the same boat. I do what I can but now I'm disenfranchised from the whole engagement. I'll continue to be a steward for the environment but don't expect me to be optimistic or angered by the state of affairs.
