This was a few minutes after I crippled all my limbs fighting the death claws in the quarry with a Grenade Launcher while doing the Great Khan quest line
Deathclaw in quarry that’s the definition of horror, but it rewarding in the end bc you know there’s FatMan launcher somewhere in quarry lake plus you can craft deathclaw gauntlet from looting corpse
Honestly I’d rather fighting bunch of raiders in Freeside or Primm or even fighting monsters from DEAD MONEY DLC rather than fighting a deathclaw in quarry, bc deathclaw can smell your fear from far away ╏ ” ⊚ ͟ʖ ⊚ ” ╏
I’m sorry. There’s a WHAT in the quarry? I just went in after the Khan that was there and left…
Otherwise though, The alpha and mother deathclaw there are fucking terrifying. I would be sneaking around with Stealth Boys and they’d lock on and sprint at me full speed. I swear they’re faster then the normal ones
God. Now I feel like that trip was a waste after not grabbing that. I’ll have to head back and hope they didn’t all respawn. Because I spent so long taking them out with all those Grenades that Good Springs probably thinks the Boomers relocated over there
Lockheed Martin pulled this shit on me 20 years ago. Applied for a job, did a quick phone screen and they invited me to their campus 5 hours away for an in person interview. When I got there they had a whole gymnasium setup with booths and about 50 people doing interviews and 200 bewildered engineers showing up hoping for a job. They never once mentioned it was going to be factory interviews. Fuck that and similar companies.
Black Flag is one of my all-time favorite gaming experiences. Crazy how long ago it was, covering my feet with a blanket during winter, humming pirate songs while sailing in the open sea.
I get that. I played it originally on PS3 when I was younger. To this day the PS3 controller is just the most comfortable way for me to play it just because of the nostalgia I have for sitting in bed playing it buried under a fuckton of blankets with my head poking out
Tbh, I haven’t experienced too many issues other then modifying a couple prgrams to be compatible with OpenRC. On my main desktop I use Debian 12 and Systemd with my 2080 SUPER and haven’t encountered any issues.
Although, when I tried to install the open kernel version of the NVIDIA driver, my system didn’t like it, so I ended up installing the full proprietary driver and it works well. Will be switching to AMD once I need to buy another graphics card.
(I use Gnome as my DE with two 1440p 144hz monitors)
So you’ve got two modes of reproduction with Allium. Allium like this typically follows a biennial habit, so this years garlic will split into cloves around the fall, in preparation for sending up a flowering stalk next spring/ summer. The cloves are vegetative propagules; just another way to get more garlic other than seeds. Hence you can just plant a clove and get a garlic next year, or, you can plant seed and also get garlic.
Now for your actually question, I believe the segmentation is probably exogenous, technically yes, however, I am by no means an expert in Allium morphology (although I have done graduate coarse work in plant morph, and worked in a plant morph lab), so don’t quote me. However, it wouldn’t appear like you are describing. Think of the ring at the base of a clove of garlic as a bunch of ‘stems’. The branching would originate there.
I’ve enjoyed your wisdom so much lately! Thank you for sharing it!!! I’m learning about plant propagation in general… Is that ring at the base of a clove the same thing as a rhizome?
This is amazing info to me. I’ve been growing garlic at a hobby level for ages and never knew how the bulbs develop. Thank you for sending me down a garlic education rabbit hole!
I don’t know how you went about installing davinci, but if you added a repo or ppa that is incompatible with the version you had, apt would try to resolve it by removing everything incompatible.
Easiest way to fix it would be to reinstall Kubuntu and all the packages you had, while keeping your old home partition/folder. That way all your data, downloads and most of the configs will stay.
The installer used to have a checkbox for that somewhere, at least back in the day when I used Kubuntu. Afaik it would automatically detect that a home already exists, even if it is not on a seperate partition.
But just to be extra safe, I’d recommend just live booting some other OS and backing up your home to an external drive.
It’s pretty normal to keep the configurations. An inplace reinstall will just put the system files back that got removed, then a reboot will bring them up with the configuration files left from before the reinstall as long as they were put in the right place for user-configured files.
Got anxiety? No you don’t. Need to study for a test? Your new photographic memory says otherwise. Wish you could play a game again for the first time? Can’t wait to play that new game I just heard about, it’s gotten all kinds of praise!
if you get to just control one person’s mind, I guess. I’m good enough at my own. I was interpreting it as controlling anyone’s mind, as in a bunch of people at a time. You could just tell them you’re invisible, for one.
