alien.top is a new level of Reddit crossposting spam
Whoever is in charge of that instance, STOP....
If we call reddit users redditors, what do we call lemmy users
A lot of people say fedditors but that sounds way too derivative of reddit
I'd rather have a "Would you like to hide all Sports related Content?" button than a "Would you like to hide all NSFW content?" button
To everyone who hates the concepts of landlords and rent, what counts as being a landlord?
Does having an AirBNB setup make someone deserving of the guillotine or does that only apply to owners of multiple houses? What about apartments?...
I banned my kid from Roblox.... what next?
As we all know, Roblox is garbage tier gameplay structured around psychological cues to get children to fill an endless pit with fake money bought with real money....
Why do people still recommend Thinkpads for Linux when there are Linux-oriented manufacturers now?
I’ve noticed in the Linux community whenever someone asks for a recommendation on a laptop that runs Linux the answer is always “Get a Thinkpad” yet Lenovo doesn’t seem to be a big Linux contributor or ally. There’s also at least six Linux/FOSS-oriented computer manufacturers now:...

Roku TV bricked until agreeing to new terms of service
See title - very frustrating. There is no way to continue to use the TV without agreeing to the terms. I couldn’t use different inputs, or even go to settings from the home screen and disconnect from the internet to disable their services. Not counting games that were unfun because of bugs, what’s the most unfun video game that you’ve played and what made it unfun?
Most of the video games I’ve played were pretty good. The only one I can think of that I didn’t like was MySims Kingdom for the Nintendo DS. Dropped that pretty quickly. It was a long while ago, but I’ll guess it was because there were too many fetch quests and annoying controls.
