Me and the fiance we always fight about the A/C or dehumidifier. For me coming from central Europe, as soon as the humidity goes over 65% I’m sweaty and hot and can’t get dry, I hate it. She as a Korean seems never to sweat at all and even when the humidity is at 80% she seems to have no problems and thinks running the A/C...
Does federation have a bit of a learning curve? No doubt....
I grew up going to church but I'm not religious now and I never really understood this part....
“Fedier” is easy to say. It also applies not only to lemmy but also to Kbin.
I take transit to work and it’s getting hot in my city, I would like to wear shorts but I’m not allowed to wear them to work because of the dress code, however it allows skirts and is silent on kilts (and I think my managers will allow my bit of malicious compliance on this). Any recommendations on affordable utilikilt style...
Lemmy's search widget isn't working for me. Google produced these questions, but asked a year ago. No consensus was reached then.
I’m a bit worried that making a new post for each of those communities could look a bit like spamming, so I decided to include all three of them that are about game franchises in the Tom Clancy universe in this one post:...

I see people say that NordVPN is a bad choice all the time, but I've never seen any credible evidence that they're not trustworthy. Can anyone provide any sources with valid reasons to avoid their service? I only know that they had some servers hacked in 2018, but it seems as though they took that very seriously and upgraded...

On my first watch-through and this episode was great, I love time anomaly episodes. Also really appreciated how, as the show comes to a close, this episode asks the question "Was the journey worth it? If they could go back and undo getting stranded in the DQ, would they?" And of course we discover through Chakotay's dialogue...
I’m thinking about getting Lucky Patcher. Is it safe? Where is the official place to get it from?
I’ve been using Portainer to manage my homelab stacks from a single dashboard, which is more convenient than the CLI, but I’m not very satisfied with it so I’ve been looking for alternatives....
