If top of the society is immoral psychopaths with power, and most of the society is composed of people with good intentions, then there is not much hope for “beta uprising” until things go way beyond point of recovery, because powerful psychopaths will not let their power get taken away....

So I have a external USB audio card (1st generation Focusrite Scarlett 6i6) and whilst not the most linux compatilbe card out of the box, I usually manage to make it work just fine. And indeed almost everything audio-related in my system works: I can play audio, sounds, songs, music streaming, youtube, I can even do audio...

I remember using it a lot a few years ago in the early 2000s and I wonder if that’s still used…?...

I use Hetzner as a seedbox and then have PLEX as my media server ran on the same hardware. It’s worked perfectly fine for years. But recently PLEX says they will be blocking Hetzner hosting in the next few weeks. I’ve been considering moving to Jellyfin for a while, but I’m worried they will do the same thing in future....

Recently I’ve gave up Windows for Linux and installed Ubuntu with KDE Plasma desktop on my pc and laptop from 2007. It’s an i7 Intel processor with 8gb ddr ram so I thought it would be fine, but it seems quite sluggish. What distro could I use that would be faster and still fully functional? Thanks for your help in advance.
