We should have a national system like how the army uses. There are heat categories and depending on what the heat & humidity are tells you how long you can work for and how long your rest period is. It also tells you how much water you should be consuming for each level of heat. This system kept us safe in Iraq in 130 degree heat so I don’t see why we couldn’t implement it.

I would suggest dumping it in a 99% alcohol bath afterwards if you’re gonna wash electronics in water. Alcohol will push out any water that gets stuck in any nooks and crannies and then it will dry without any residue.

You could do a similar thing with miles gear (military laser tag). Basically if you short out two pins in the laser it turns into a fully automatic weapon instead of semi auto. Good times were had in NTC with this knowledge.

It takes minimal amounts of effort to set up a few bots to sow discord in a new social media network. With the things that we know Meta has done it the past do you honestly believe that dropping a few bots onto Lemmy is beyond them? This isn’t what I’m looking for. I don’t mind seeing NSFW content in general. It’s just that if you go to sort by new or top hour it’s a lot of porn specifically from lemmynsfw and its some weird shit usually. So i’d rather just block their whole instance and not deal with blocking them community by community or by turning off all nsfw content on my profile. If that option exists that is.
