    steam-presence: A script that takes the game you're playing on steam and displays it on discord (github.com)

    I just found this cool utility a couple days ago and have found that it’s a great solution to sandboxed versions of Discord being unable to provide rich presence. It’s a Python script that queries the Steam web API to get info to forward to Discord’s API. The “installer” sets up a systemd service that will auto-run the...

    Did I just solve the packaging problem? (please feel free to tell me why I'm wrong)

    You know what I just realised? These “universal formats” were created to make it easier for developers to package software for Linux, and there just so happens to be this thing called the Open Build Service by OpenSUSE, which allows you to package for Debian and Ubuntu (deb), Fedora and RHEL (rpm) and SUSE and OpenSUSE (also...

    Is anyone using VMware under a Wayland host?

    I’ve been using VMware Player (free version) for a while now and it’s been working fine. Recently I switched to Wayland and VMware’s grab input behavior broke. The guest gets most keys correctly but Alt and Super are intercepted by the host. Clicking on the vm also gives me a remote desktop popup on the host prompting to...

    In 2013, foreign buyers made up about 7% ($92.2 billion) of transactions in the $1.2 trillion U.S. real estate market. Canada was the main buyer with 19% of sales (decrease from 23% the year before), China was on the second place with 16% of sales, while on the first place considering total foreign sales by dollar value (24% or $22 billion). Mexico ranked third with 9% of sales and India and the UK both accounted for 5%.[2] Florida is the most popular destination with 31% of sales, followed by California (12%), Texas (9%) and Arizona (6%).

    How long do you wait before you declare it hung?

    Sometimes decryption takes up to a minute depending on your system specs and optimizations.

    I suggest booting from a live disc and trying to unlock it from there.

    Try mounting it without the mount options. Also why -vvvv?

    krolden ,
    @krolden@lemmy.ml avatar

    nfsvers=2 or nfsvers=3 — Specifies which version of the NFS protocol to use. This is useful for hosts that run multiple NFS servers. If no version is specified, NFS uses the highest supported version by the kernel and mount command. This option is not supported with NFSv4 and should not be used.
