Thing about sharing the internet with newly minted teenagers is that they haven’t been around these streets nearly as long as us. They apparently dont know the history of the net as well as the timeline of the most popular sites.

Maybe schools need to start teaching internet history class or something. If only schools in the USA weren’t terrible when it comes to anything tech.

Create a single drive zpool with each disk with the same pool name. Then add them in proxmox datacenter->storage -> add zfs and choose the pool you created and select the nodes with those disks.

Then you can proceed to setup HA and replication.

Create a new storage pool with bigger disk(s) and migrate your stuff

Much less of a headache.

You could also add a directory to your local-lvm storage and set that to be your iso store in datacenter-> storage

boot into gparted (make bootable usb https://gparted.org/liveusb.php)

open terminal

run lvdisplay to check the proxmox root and data lv name and path
sudo lvdisplay

resize the root lv (choose size, no curly brackets)
sudo lvreduce --resizefs -L {size}G /dev/pve/root

resize the data lv to use all available space
sudo lvresize -l +100%FREE /dev/pve/data

reboot into proxmox
pray

I do not suggest doing this. Just add another disk.

Wireless wifi is not working after chroot rescue on Arch Linux.

So basically I stupidly tried to update while my thinkpad had low battery and it powered off halfway through the update. The system wouldn’t boot because it was complaining that vm-linuz/linux was not found so I performed a chroot-rescue and got it to boot again. I must have messed something up during the process because now...
