What’s the message here?

Beauty fades, skills improve? 😁

essell ,

That’s fair. My cat has no reaction to himself in a mirror but we know cats can react in a mirror test.

Does he lack self awareness or not?

TIL of the Great Auk, a northern hemisphere species similar to penguins that was hunt to extinction. Penguins are named after them. (en.m.wikipedia.org)

The great auk (Pinguinus impennis), also known as the Penguin or gare-fowl, is a species of flightless alcid that became extinct in the mid-19th century. It was the only modern species in the genus Pinguinus. It is unrelated to the Penguins of the southern hemisphere, which were named so after their resemblance to the northern...

Depends how old you get. After 30 years some games just don’t work like they used to!

Thankfully we do have modern solutions for old fashioned problems now.

They’re a new comedy trio!

Mostly doing meme humour and meta gags

essell ,

In the UK, life expectancy of a cat is increased 50-100% by not letting it roam free, exact numbers vary between studies.

essell ,

I imagine they’re quite hard to do by accident

essell ,

Because you have two choices when choosing a family pet, Cat or Dog. Two choices makes them opposites.

Obviously this is not all logical or rational but that’s fine. People are not all logical and rational.

My first thought was rice paddies.

Even wetter than rice panties

essell ,

You proved them right.

No such thing as a free lunch.

They always want something for it, in this case it was to prove them wrong.

This is what happens when a men dedicates himself to economic philosophy! It is my life Bro! My life!

essell ,

You know that old saying “if a fish cries in the ocean, does it make a sound?”

essell ,

Woah. That 4th paragraph reads like it was written by the cocaine.

essell ,

I made friends with this person I met online in a game, spent the evening gaming together. Changed my life forever

essell ,

I never cared for “extras” anyway.

Just let me enjoy the film.

essell ,

Fair, I’m not convinced I do need that layer.

I guess if people are into films as a topic, or even a specific film, then that’d be interesting.

Not for me.

essell ,

Yeah, I think Samsung’s app has been able to do this for years.

Ultimately, all international diplomacy is about sea dicks

essell ,

Or if I was smarter I’d write a joke that made more sense…no one is coming out of this conversation looking good today.

essell ,

Stop discriminating then, see the sexiness in the servers, the horniness in the harddrive.

Total War:Warhammer series has taken up a lot of my time. I suggest Modding it to suit your play style and desired level of challenge.

Darktide, and vermintide, as others have mentioned if you prefer action to turn based.

Dawn of War series are all good games. The second one in coop mode is excellent.

Spacemarine is an instant classic.

I’d skip Gladius. It’s good, it’s fine. Its a cheap copy of better games with a warhammer skin over it.

I’ve known a dozen or so Danes, and I’d say 8-10 is more typical.

Just make sure they rest after eating and they’ll be happy a long time.

essell ,

I’ve always thought Australia was a trouble maker.

essell ,

Nice. Be proud.

Dunno what of, but be proud anyway!

essell ,

Then I think it’s fair to ask, “Does his height have nothing to do with his fuckwad-ery?”

essell ,

And now I’ll be doing that later today!

essell ,

Remember, if your photoprism lasts more than 4 hours, consult a medical professional

We still talking about power banks?

Space Marine 2 feels even more explosively, grimly, and hilariously authentic to the Warhammer 40,000 universe than the first game (www.pcgamer.com)

A Warhammer 40,000 space marine is not just your usual sci-fi super soldier. They are hulking behemoths, 10 feet tall (and about 10 feet wide too). They don’t move like people, they move like freight trains. They have the physical bearing of an industrial freezer unit and the emotional intelligence of a crocodile. They do not...

essell ,

First one totally was, I’d expect the same here

essell ,

The race is long And in the end, it’s only with yourself.

essell ,

It depends on the vehicle, and the surface.

Get a Rayfield for the best handling on a supercar, in my opinion. Or the Thornton brand, especially for off road.

Learning to drive with gentle corrections helps too.

After a few hundred hours playing the game, I’m excellent at the driving, weaving between traffic and loosing people on the bends. Great fun.

PS. Don’t hold down the accelerator all the time, use your brakes. it’s not NASCAR.

essell ,

Makes the cost of upgrading the car worthwhile too, they’re genuinely better!

Experiment with a range of them, they do vary so much

essell ,

The other advantage is getting a second sim in a phone which otherwise can’t have one, only times I’ve used them.

essell ,

difference being If you don’t understand a book it doesn’t stop you reading the rest of it.

Can you imagine if other media worked like games. If the film paused part way to test if you knew all the characters names or something 😁

essell ,

McDonalds is not a well paying job?

I am shocked. Shocked I tell you.

Maybe not that shocked.

essell ,

It shows that people are not the same from one day to the next, none of us would score the same on personality tests and the like every time.

Which really calls into question the validity of using this method of assessment

essell ,

I think I’m seen American police do that, though that could just be the way its reported

essell ,

If we don’t count socks that evolve into independent life forms then its working very well
