Got a friend that works at AmBev. Was telling me their profits went up because most the people outraged over the whole Bud Light thing just switched to other, more expensive AmBev brands. Yknow, because they're fucking idiots too angry to even check who owns the brand they drink.

The Kbin API isn't public yet (though that's coming very soon), so as far as I'm aware there's no native Kbin apps as of yet. I know many Lemmy app developers have already said they're going to add Kbin compatibility once it's out, including the developer of Sync.

I'm about as far left as they come, but yeah it's definitely a fairly strong left wing echo chamber, and thay absolutely can very quickly become a problem.

I'm not even talking about "silencing the right" or whatever those chucklefucks want to complain about. We're not there yet (nor are we particularly close at the moment), but I've seen plenty of communities turn into a hivemind because they're not careful about that sort of stuff.

Really depends on who those dozen people are, but my very vague recollection of the incident is that it wasn't anyone important.

Won't happen because the votes aren't actually going to be votes. Reddit will just claim a majority voted in favor of kicking out the current ones, and then claim that no one wants to kick out the ones they instill
