The only game I have ever played is FIFA on a PS4. Now I have a gaming laptop but have no idea how I should go about playing games on Linux. Appreciate your help in advance!

Fellow selfhoster, do you encrypt your drives where you put data to avoid privacy problems in case of theft? If yes, how? How much does that impact performances? I wonder if the charging port on mobile devices will go the way of the 3.5mm jack and be replaced with Qi and other wireless charging protocols. I also wonder if we will be forced into Bluetooth for all extension devices we used to connect to usb-c.

I have forge accounts from three respective sites: GitHub, GitLab and Codeberg. In all of these forges, I’ve opted to use secret e-mail. The reason for this is that when I had my original e-mail, I was spam-bombed job roles by a company from Shanghai within the Linux foundation, called Zilliz. Apparently, they extracted emails...

I played a fair bit of GTA Vice City back in the day round friends’ houses, but never played all the way through. Mostly just ran people over, got as many stars as possible and died. Don’t get me wrong… I had a blast… but recently thought I’d play through the whole thing....

Is there an easy way to do this? I suppose I could just copy the files manually but is there a better option? Thanks!

They’re not retro (FTL 2012, ITB 2018) but they’re old enough to regularly go on sale which is great!...

Is it as good as some reviews make it seem? How big of an issue is the lack of backlight? Any favourite games?
