For most parts of the #Fediverse you don't need to do something special. But it helps, i f you don't include special stuff like polls.
In addition, this account is bridged via #BridgyFed to #Bluesky, where one can interact with it, too.
Even at the third attempt, it's almost only #Mastodon, from where I see shares. But that again just underscores the dominance of Mastodon. (To be clear, there are others, but I don't see them here)
I think, that's it for me with trying to get a post get a substancial amount of interactions from the rest of the #Fediverse. But that still were some fun little experiments showing the diversity of the software connected in the Fediverse.

So, before beginning my 4 months of parental leave in June, I wrote an article for @heiseonline describing, why one on #Threads should activate federation with the #Fediverse. I did this in anticipation, that this option would become availabla in the EU while I'm gone.
After almost two months, it's still not here. Seems like preparing the article wasn't necessary. Will it come before christmas maybe? 🙄

I really wish I could find the logic in the fact that uncertainty causes me so much stress. Wondering if any other autistics explored this for themselves? Or read about it anywhere?
When I think through those uncertain situations I can see that everything is fine on a so-called “logic” level. But that’s not what is happening within me. Instead, my mind and body are stressed until there’s at least MORE certainty.
I’m just starting to realise how much impact even very low levels of stress from uncertainty brings. It’s influencing decisions I make and may be changing my life in little ways I don’t actually want. I’m not against certainty at all, we all absolutely need it to be healthy, but these occasions of uncertainty seem to be so trivial (e.g. do I move from this room to the next room?).
What am I missing? What is it about the autistic brain that finds uncertainty so challenging? (Bearing in mind I’m AuDHD so of course there’s plenty of contradiction! 🤣)
My goal is to understand it better so I can at least make better decisions, support myself better. While it’s an enigma, I don’t feel I’m able to help myself very much at all.
Has anyone written about this? Any research on it?

One of the ways we do this on Twitter is monthly hashtags, where you are invited to share archive stories on a particular theme. This month for example, the theme is #EYASustainability
Does this work on Mastodon? What's the best way to share and promote archive engagement on Mastodon? At the moment we've been replicating a bit of what we do on Twitter on this platform, but perhaps we should take a different approach on here?
The update for #Mastodon patching the bug in the preview is near, so it's time for a last look at #traffic sources for @heiseonline: #Twitter keeps decreasing and is already overtaken by Mastodon (thx also to problems with our bot for #X, when it works, X brings more people). #Flipboard and #Facebook are growing again, #Bluesky and #Threads are far behind. But Threads brings already more traffic than Bluesky, although we can't autopost (every link) there.
How to get discovered on Mastodon?
