This seems to only affect the A220, if Airbus is to be believed.

Huge growth!

Since many of the sanctions also apply to things that are expected to fail over time, like electronics and industrial equipment, I’m sure the losses will continue to rise. Something to look forward to.

[many citations needed]

Also, you seem to be putting the actions of Putin (and the consequences of allowing him to get the country to this state) on to Europe and NATO. The fact is that these sanctions would not be in place if Putin didn’t invade a neighboring country for illegal annexation (specifically, Russia violated United Nations Charter Article 2, paragraph 4).

I’m sorry to tell you that mass protests aren’t enough. As long as the Russian people are complicit (for example, by continuing to contribute to war efforts at their oil refinery jobs) and continue to allow Putin to govern, they will suffer.

AmbiguousProps ,

It would still probably count as some sort of trade (even when delayed), which is what would violate the sanctions.

AmbiguousProps ,

Only the Russian people can fix the elections. NATO and the EU have nothing to do with that, so I’m not sure why you’re blaming them for “confirming” it when the only people that “confirmed” it were the Russian people who rolled over for yet another false election.

So you are owed no apology from NATO, and I certainly don’t owe you one.

For what it’s worth, I love my R1T. The build quality is miles ahead of the Teslas I’ve driven.

How much do you think a hamster MRI costs?

AmbiguousProps , (edited )

that’s not a fair comparison because pc has people who running on hardware worse than a ps3.

This is a benefit of using PC, not a downside. Unlike consoles, you aren’t forced to upgrade every few years and you actually have the ability to change graphics settings. Even if you want to upgrade your PC, you don’t need to get an entirely new build.

That’s also missing the fact that plenty of people don’t need or want to play the latest AAA title.

If you’re 25+ and want to have a sexual relationship with someone that’s 18 (or younger, which is actually what you’re talking about), it means that you’re an immature adult yes, and it also means that you’re probably attracted to children. Don’t be a pedo.

If you don’t believe me, ask any 18 year old girl who wears tight clothes, what age are the guys looking at her body when she walks around?

First off, it’s not okay for that to be happening in the first place. Just because it happens doesn’t make it okay. Secondly, I guarantee that these same men look at 15-17 year olds the same way. Do you really think that they’re asking ages before checking them out? This is not a good argument. It’s hilarious that you’re also speaking for women, when you clearly are not one.

It’s biology, you can’t change that with political correctness…

This isn’t about political correctness, this is about not being a pedophile or an otherwise creepy little man. There’s a thing called self control and self discipline, you know? We’re intelligent creatures, it’s biology, after all.

This is news? He’s been doing that the entire time.

No shit, the Cybertruck can’t offroad.

Best way to backup files

I have about 500GB of data (photos, documents, videos etc.) that I have accumulated over the years. Currently, I keep them on my computer and rsync all additions / changes once a month or so to an external hard drive. Do I need to be worried about data loss (sectors going bad, bit rot, bit flip, whatever it is called)?...

AmbiguousProps ,

I like Duplicacy, which is $20 but worth it for something as important as backups.

The latest cuts come as the company enjoys its fastest growth rate since early 2022, alongside improving profit margins. Last week, Alphabet reported a 15% jump in first-quarter revenue from a year earlier and announced its first-ever dividend and a $70 billion buyback.

Pieces of shit.

Which therapists? Both therapist and my partner’s are very open to it.

AmbiguousProps ,

That’s a bummer, I guess we’re lucky in that regard. I completely agree that the same difficulties exist in both.

AmbiguousProps ,

When I was looking for a therapist, that was a huge struggle for me too. Even some of the providers under the LGBTQ+ filters were proudly religious, a few proudly displaying their degrees from religious institutions.

AmbiguousProps ,

Funny, that’s exactly how I’d describe her.

Does Floccus count? It syncs via caldev into the native bookmarks.

I hope Google gets sued once this inevitably backfires.

The thing is, there are tons of US bases in the Middle East other than the ones in Israel. Qatar (who has their own moral issues, but is not actively commiting genocide), for example, has some of the largest US bases in the area. So, the question should be asked: do we really need to keep a country doing a genocide as our ally to maintain power projection in the Middle East? I think the US could get by just fine.

AmbiguousProps ,

Israel is doing something horrific (genocide) today, that’s the difference. As stated, those countries do have their own issues. But none are currently participating in a genocide of this scale.

And yes, I would prefer if we did pull out of being allied to countries that do genocide. We can also do other things, like not supporting them by giving them the weapons they need, without fully falling out. There’s a lot of options that we just aren’t doing, many more options than just military action. Israel will continue at least as long as the US is supplying weapons.

Heart attack, but most of the injuries seem related to people hitting the ceiling, as many of the images in the article show holes in the plastic.

“free gaza” is not “Jew hate”, that’s absolutely insane.

AmbiguousProps ,

You only have to work 80 hours a week to get it (or else they’ll just fire you)!

AmbiguousProps ,

For real, Biden should not have been the candidate, and now we’re stuck with him.

AmbiguousProps ,

What a shocker. God, I wish I could afford to leave this country so that my tax dollars weren’t funneled directly to this genocide.

AmbiguousProps ,

I think I’d rather own this than the real thing, dangerous glass and all.

AmbiguousProps ,

Ah, the classic “hive mind” excuse. It’s always brought up when someone has nothing else to stand on (that someone is you, if it wasn’t clear).

AmbiguousProps OP ,

So, Tesla successfully lobbies the government to get the grant money to apply to NACS instead of CCS, making it the new defacto standard. Now, they’re seemingly pulling out? Seems like Tesla just didn’t want to have to update their chargers to work with CCS (something that would have been required for that government money, before the lobbying).

On top of that, the lobbying successfully stunted CCS development, even after 700 kW CCS charging had been demonstrated, with future increases planned. Tesla basically killed all of their charging competition with this move.

I’m sure the auto industry is happy to hear this headline after they started to change their vehicles over to NACS and made promises to customers about access to the Tesla network. Rivian, for example, has already begun shipping complimentary NACS adapters for R1 owners, but this will probably throw a wrench into that.

It’s bad news for the wealthy because it means they’ll have less labor to exploit

This is exactly what I did, after having a bad experience with one of those services. It’s like night and day, honestly.

Tesla facing federal probe days after fatal Autopilot crash in Monroe, WA (www.seattletimes.com)

Federal auto regulators announced Friday they are opening an investigation into the safety of Tesla’s Autopilot feature, less than a week after a Tesla driver believed to be using it allegedly struck and killed a motorcyclist in Monroe....

AmbiguousProps ,

That’s just not true, especially for non-european cultures. As the study I linked shows.
