How do my #actuallyautistic and #AUDHD folks figure out how to task switch to something even approximating relaxation from work or is this just not possible? Any strategies anyone uses?
@dr_rug_pull I agree that I tend to use music to detox after meetings, at least when working from home. Sometimes I use minor tasks that I find interesting to detox as well. Or podcasts. #ActuallyAutistic#AuDHD@actuallyautistic
I don't talk about this much because I suck at promoting myself, but for those of you who weren't aware, I published some books. Three of them are a fantasy trilogy still available via Carina Press, under the pen name of Angela Highland. The other two are books 1 and 2 of an urban fantasy series, self-published under my actual name, Angela Korra'ti.
And since I continue to be unemployed AF right now, if I could make anything at all off of sales to new readers, that'd sure be super helpful right now.

This simulation of a terrorist attack in #London (guess it has nothing to do with London seeing the biggest demonstrations in support of #Palestine) on #Xmas day is supposed to “make Brits feel what it’s like to be ‘in our shoes’ for a minute or two,” according to one of the producers.

I cannot believe that I have not seen this scientific study before now. I have gone my whole life believing that parachutes save lives, but this controversial research has overturned consensus on this. I am now convinced that parachutes are a waste of money. To show my support for this idea, I will be jumping out of a plane without a parachute to show that it is perfectly safe!
@elonjet So I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy nut but why is he always going to Brownsville?It’s right on the border, like literally as close as you can get to the USA but you might as well be in Mexico. AFAIK none of his factories are located there. What I’m trying to say in my idiotic mind is that is he smuggling shit? I know I sound stupid for suggesting this for someone who is apparently the richest person in the world but ton of powerful people were willing to travel on Epstein jet.
