As a millennial (only just though) maybe we should just skip Gen X and millennials and hand everything over to Gen Z. Maybe a generation who are generally consuming less and care about the environment would do a much better job of making sure the world doesn’t burn.
Israel is not going to stop until all the territory of British Mandate Palestine is theirs, and all non Jews are removed from it, one way or another. As an American, it’s absolutely infuriating that my government is so committed to helping them do it.

Project 2025 mentions Trump’s name 300 times. Officials from his administration were involved in writing it. It’s a plan to replace public servants with “Trump loyalist” - which Trump calls “destroying the deep state” but is actually know as “Unitary Executive Theory”, aka a dictatorship.
In 2018, The Heritage Foundation said on their website, that two-thirds of the previous “Mandate for Leadership” they wrote for Trump had been passed into law. They’re a big part of how the GOP sets policy when in office, dating back to the Reagan era.
Great to see the US/Dems getting fired up with some positivity for once! There’s a strong “Let’s goooo!” vibe now! It’s incredible how right-wing influencers targeted Kamala Harris’ laugh in that video, but watching it brings nothing but joy! With all the recent grimness, I’ll take this positivity any day! :-D Kamala is memeable and is leaning into it and I wouldn’t be surprised if they just grabbed that laugh video and used it in their own campaign! :-D (I’m not a US citizen, just excited for you finally!)
The body cam footage is conclusive. The officer murdered that woman.
She said, “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus.” This caused the officer to become enraged, he told her he would shoot her in her fucking face, and then he did just that.
He claims he felt threatened because she was holding the handles of a pot of boiling water that was set on the counter next to her sink, but he moved closer to her before he shot her. If he felt threatened, why would he move closer to the threat? Also, as soon as the officers drew their weapons and pointed them at her, she let go of the pot and dropped to the floor. While the woman was on the floor, the officers continued to point their guns at her and tell her to drop the pot, even though at that point she was no longer touching the pot. The woman tries to stand up and grab the pot again, I think because she was trying to comply with the officers’ imbecilic commands to drop a pot she wasn’t even holding, and that’s when the one officer shot her in the head.
At one point in the video the officer walks out of the house into the front yard where there are several other officers that had by then arrived on the scene, and the looks on their faces say it all. They knew they were looking at a man who hadn’t just fucked up, but had committed a violent, criminal act. They knew he was totally fucked.
