I just bought a nice OLED monitor and I’m trying to take advantage of it to play my games in HDR. If I run my games in gamescope, then HDR runs fine but my PS4 controller doesn’t work. If I play without gamescope, the controller works, but HDR does not....

I’m Running Linux Mint 21.3 mainly using Lutris and Steam for some native Linux games. It’s so annoying, especially when it sometimes disconnects the gamepad. I’m using an Xbox One S controller connected through a USB cable.

I tried right-clicking the app & going into the Properties, then adding -silent to the Arguments under the Application tab, but that did not do anything....

Title. Turning off the fancy effects (which can be done with Alt+Shift+F12) improves performance slightly, but having to toggle them on and off every time I start a game is… Y’know. A thing....

At this point, making something that doesn’t work using Wine or Proton is actually kind of an achievement, so congrats EA, you managed to fuck up both Origin and EA app. The actual game runs flawlessly, it’s the launchers that are all kinds of broken.
