Hi all, I bought a gaming PC with the intention of installing Linux to play recent games. I chose AMD for the GPU because I know the drivers are more optimized on Linux....

I’d like to try the new Assassin’s Creed and Avatar, but they’re not on Steam - which is how I play almost every other game on Linux. I know I might be able to install Uplay games using Lutris, but I’m not sure if the experience is as smooth as Steam + Proton....

So…Yeah, the question in the title. Trying to play Lutris TLOU, and all the settings are maxed out just fine, except for the Textures section, that’s locked out. ANd then checking the Display settings, I can see my VRAM is at 7806MB…which is…inacurate. It should be getting the full 16GB right? What’s going on?

I was offered an Intel Arc graphics card, but I couldn’t find any information about how they work with Linux that was less than 7 months old. Any of you know how well Arc GPUs are currently working on Linux?

Few days ago i switched back to LM 21.2 and everything worked fine. Installed Steam (native), gamemode (or was already installed), mangohud, xone, newer kernel, kisak-mesa, protonup-qt....

I have Ubuntu 22.04, standard edition + KDE (if that matters)....

The latest Battle.net update is broken in Wine (and Proton), creating a blank gray window where the launcher UI should be....

I’m new to Linux, using Kubuntu. I got Left 4 Dead 1 installed from Steam and I’m using Proton 8.0. I get an error saying “An error occurred while launching this game: invalid app configuration”. Is there a launch option I should be using? Something else?
