It may be apocryphal, but supposedly one of my brother’s elementary school teachers was going on one day about how it’s impossible to see the moon during daylight and a kid pointed out the window and said “it’s right there.”

Seems pretty stupid but knowing where I grew up I don’t disbelieve it happened.

RizzRustbolt , to nostupidquestions in Which one is selected? The "Yes" option or the "No" option?

Press left. If nothing changes, then Yes is selected.

xmunk ,

You’d be surprised how many shitty UIs x-wrap navigation when there are only two options.

Klear ,

Is the play here to always make sure there are at least three options anywhere?

andrewta OP ,

Sadly keep pressing left they just cycle back and forth

AndrewZabar ,

Fucking of course. Leave it to such a dev to ensure no logical method can work the problem.

Laylong , to programmer_humor in BS from MS about AI helping an MD

I second the comment about this being a reason to reduce technician hours. Worked at the busiest store in my district the last 15 years of my career. We went from 3 pharmacists with several hours overlap on weekdays, down to 2 pharmacists with no overlap. Tech hours once was high enough to have 5 technicians on between 10-6, down to only having 5 total on staff. We went from a 24 location, down to being open only 11.5 hours a day. We were one block up from a Walgreens and one block down from a RiteAid that both ended up closing, and getting most of their customers who walked there. We had 2 major exoduses of staff and lost a good number of long time patients in the enshitification.

Even in a world where some new AI model could improve pharmacist throughput, it doesn’t compare to the skeleton crewing of corporate pharmacy bottom-line-go-up.

The “yes” is selected.

I went from owning a ‘99 Ford Explorer (bought from mom when I was 16) to a 2002 Chevy Silverado (inherited) to a 2018 Ford Fiesta. I LOVE my tiny car and I would love a smaller one.

dwemthy , to nostupidquestions in Which one is selected? The "Yes" option or the "No" option?

“yes” is selected, it looks pressed in

xmunk , to nostupidquestions in Which one is selected? The "Yes" option or the "No" option?

If you’re genuinely asking… the yes option. But that is indeed a shitty ass UI.

My answer comes from the “thumb print” effect - that radial shadow pattern is supposed to remind the user of their finger partially blocking the light on an illuminated button.

EvilBit ,

I think the radial shadow pattern is actually supposed to evoke the edges of the hollow in which the button is depressed, but otherwise I agree with you 100%.

ElanoidesWahl ,
@ElanoidesWahl@slrpnk.net avatar

Also the “no” has the yellow reflection from the graphic above, implying its projecting “out”.

Well, everything checks out. They used black ink and remembered to capitalize the right letters, so I guess the Binding Terms of this Contract really put the sheriff in a tight spot.

HonkTonkWoman ,

It’s the lack of extraneous gold fringe tassels that really tells you something. So many times these contracts are null & void right out the gate because some goober wants to fancy it up with unnecessary gold tassels.

This contract though… this contract is surely worth its weight in gold plated fiddles.

Well, shit we saw the going rate for them having a bathroom and “cloths.” I don’t even want to know their update fees. Probably another $600,000.

“Comercial” is misspelled and therefore the magic spell fizzles.

magnetosphere ,
@magnetosphere@fedia.io avatar

Legal experts on Facebook have determined that the footnote is a separate Contract and doesn’t affect the main Binding Contract.

Canadian_anarchist , (edited )
@Canadian_anarchist@lemmy.ca avatar

Which error is more egregious, “Comercial” or “Unitited States”? At least the writing is legible, so credit where it’s due.

Perhaps there’s magic in the bathroom, bed, bike, cloths and food that somehow equal a value of $50,000? It’s unclear what these have to do with the towed vehicle, unless it was a motorhome.
