Funny picture, not accurate, but pretty funny. The US is the only developed nation with a life expectancy going down. Hovering around a low established in 1996. Canada on the other hand continues to increase with a tiny rate of growth dip during the worse of Covid. Worse pandemic in its history and all she gets it from it was people were living longer each year at a slower rate.
Having lived in both, Canadian healthcare >>> American healthcare. Walking out of a hospital after they saved your life with a bill of $0 is very nice in my experience.
Canadian Healthcare is better if you’re immediately dying, US Healthcare is better if you’re slowly dying…and have money. Those who do not have money need not apply.
The Canadian system is triaged according to priority, as opposed to who can or can’t afford it. I’ve had several MRIs, including one during the height of COVID, and have never waited more than a few weeks. One was scheduled a couple of months out and then moved up after a radiologist reviewed my x-rays. Granted one of them was at 3am but would rather have answers and an inconvenient appointment time
I never understand this, the last time I needed an MRI I got it done within the same day. Canadian healthcare can have its downsides but when you need something you get it quick.
I am doing good. I only had some symptoms of schizophrenia so I kinda blame my phyciatrist for giving me that heavy treatment. I don’t think I needed it.
I asked another psychologist for his opinion. He said you had been gaslighted by your phyciatrist. :(
My pc can run modern games more or less but only if I remove the side panel which prevents the voltage regulators on my graphics card from getting so hot it overheats the vram.
Maybe don’t buy a modern gaming graphics card from a shitty no name brand on aliexpress
I fucking hate dandelions, I hate herbicides a shit ton more though. I planted clover and other ground over to compete with the dandelions and to feed the bees. My husband and I go out picking dandelions any day it’s not raining and we see yellow in the yard. It’s kinda fun to see who can get the longest thickest root 😉
