If any other device on your network, such as your phone, exclusively uses pihole for DNS, they won’t be able to resolve web addresses when your computer is off - effectively cutting off internet access. Pihole should really be running 24/7 to avoid complications.
Not really. In my case i start it from within Steam Library and not from commandline, but i have tried the --force -q dotnet48 shortcut also, with no positive result. Yesterday, I could play the game for more than 3 hours, but today, starting it the same way, it crashes after loading 1% of the save game.
I’m starting it now in a parallel installed Windows, where the save game location is shared between both OS (-appdata “/path/to/folder” -skipintro). Maybe i find a better way and must not boot to Windows. Since i start this really seldom, it has to download a lot of Updates before i can continue.
in the term that will open type “$@” (with the ") and inspect the output .You can redirect it, but steam executes games in a container so not all other directories will be available to write to
I don’t use Chrome but Firefox, and PWAs are just really inconsistent. I think it’s probably an Android/OS/home screen thing rather than Chrome specifically.
I’m not a rich techie, but I guess my view is that I am in STEM. It’s what I understand, and what I value. STEM is produces things of usefulness and monetary value. STEM is facts and numbers.
Where art is based around feelings. I don’t understand that, and I don’t value that. I do value industrial design, like the work of Henry Dreyfus. His streamlined New York Central Hudsons, the Eversharp Skyline, and the round Honeywell thermostat are excellent examples of attractive and useful things. So is Ikea furniture. That’s my art. The Junghans Max Bill is another great example of great industrial design.
Again, I’m not a rich techie. Just a mechanical engineer. But there may be some crossover, who knows.
I’ve gone through multiple pairs of Brook’s Adrenalines and they’ve always been super comfortable and nice looking with some solid color choices. Only problem is some pairs have gotten beat up pretty quick but I also wear them everyday so that’s probably a me thing.
