Things like FOSS stuff makes you think people can organize and work together freely to achieve a common goal, and maybe anarchy could work. But then, you see a busy intersection when the traffic lights go out and you realize the general public are idiots and everything devolves into selfish chaos as you’re stuck a half mile back, as cars shoot through in no particular order and you inch closer to the madness terrified to make your left turn. I have zero trust in society without some form of rule and order.

For sure, most of them are crossovers. And get decent gas mileage compared to real SUVs. When I was a kid, an SUV was like, an Explorer. Or a Tahoe. My unibody Equinox is basically just a tall station wagon. I’d say my Traverse might border on SUV with its AWD and towing package, but it is still a unibody and has a limited towing capacity. And it gets at least as good of mileage as my old Pontiac G6 that it replaced.

Jenny’s videos are awesome. This has been in my Watch Later since she released it… I need to get around to watching it.

BoxOfFeet ,

I’m so glad I haven’t bought an EA game since Battlefield 1942.

BoxOfFeet ,

I like reading Google reviews for strip clubs in Detroit. There are some fantastic ones. One memorable review simply stated “Stripper farted on me.” One star.

BoxOfFeet ,

Yeah, the only mouse I have that does this I’d my Logitech T-BB-18 when I take the ball out.

BoxOfFeet ,

I still haven’t beaten FO4. I lost interest. But I started 3 over again! And it’s still just as good as ever. And it’s been so long since I’ve played it, I’ve forgotten a lot of it. It’s pretty awesome.

BoxOfFeet ,

If my 3rd party app is broken to the point theh can’t bring it back, I would like to say I’d drop YouTube like a sack of moldy tangerines. But I really don’t know what I’d do without it. I use it about 8hrs a day.

BoxOfFeet ,

What is this from? And why are there like, 5 GG1 locomotives connected together?

BoxOfFeet ,

That guy definitely has mesothelioma now.

BoxOfFeet ,

Nobody going to mention Battlestar Galactica (2004)? Starbuck, Laura Roslin, Athena, Kat… so many good examples of not just strong, but flawed and human women. Well, mostly human.

BoxOfFeet ,

It wasn’t able to create puncture wounds, only pooper cuts.

BoxOfFeet ,

Oh shit, I like NIN. I didn’t even realize I was an incel… What do I tell my wife? “Horny misanthrope” is pretty fair though, I guess.

BoxOfFeet ,

I feel super fortunate to have bought on 2018. I definitely couldn’t afford my house today.

BoxOfFeet ,

Wow, I really liked 3 and resurrection. Guess I didn’t realize they were so disliked. Guessing you’re not a fan of Waterworld or Battlefield Earth either?

BoxOfFeet ,

I know those two are, but I love them. Unironically. I’ve read the Waterworld comics, I bought the Arrow bluray release with the Ulysses cut the day it came out. I’m tempted to get a copy of Waterworld for my Virtual Boy to round out the collection.

Battlefield Earth isn’t on the same level as Waterworld, but I still read the book after watching it and love the movie even more, having the whole story filled in.

Hey, anybody know the best browser for Windows Mobile 6.5?

BoxOfFeet ,

I have a schnauzer + poodle = schnoodle named Ziti.

BoxOfFeet ,

I heard that same chemical is in the COVID vaccine. And it just so happens to be in the school lunches? Not in my back yard!

BoxOfFeet ,

If I was that hung, I’d probably paint it red and stick a shoe on it, too. I mean, I would want to show it off, but don’t want to brag.

BoxOfFeet ,

Nothing, I guess I just never needed any spiritual support. I grew up an atheist, my parents never took me to any church or prayed or told any religious stories of any kind. Then suddenly, in high school, I decided to tell them I was non religious they were surprised. They said we are Methodists. Well, that’s news to me. Maybe you are, but I was never baptized or anything.

Funny thing, I also never got “the talk.” I managed to figure things out for myself there, too.

BoxOfFeet ,

I just had kidney stone removal surgery yesterday. The kind with a scope. That’s my life right now, sleeping or awake.

BoxOfFeet ,

Yeah, thanks. Looking forward to not feeling like I’m peeing out razorblades.

BoxOfFeet ,

Thank you!

Mine is 5mm. They told me I had a good chance of passing it. So for weeks, they had me on a double dose of Flomax with some big ibuprofen. Nothing. Follow up CT scan said it hardly moved. They’re going in. They went in. He got far enough in to see it, but couldn’t get to it. I guess in younger men, things are pretty narrow in that vicinity. So, they put a stent in to dilate it larger and I have to go back. But now, it really, really hurts to pee and I have crazy bladder urgency. So I’m in the bathroom frequently for like, a tablespoon or so of fluid. Them just going up there with a scope really did a number on me. It sucks so hard. I really, really hope you just pass yours normally. Good luck to you!

The guy worked for the robot manufacturer, according to the article! You’d think would have been much more aware of the robot’s reach, and the safety procedures. Plus, I’m pretty sure you can step through the robot programming slowly. I’ve seen our programmers do it. Please don’t tell me he was in the cell standing next to the crate or whatever, with that thing running full production speed.

At my previous job, once a year they had a catalog of company merch. Nobody ever got it, because it was kind of over priced. Well, I had a good year and wanted a jacket and a zip up fleece. It was like, $160. My order comes, and I love it. I give the person in charge of said orders a check. Next day, she gives it back, saying they were having an issue cashing it internationally, or something. Because the company is headquartered in Canada. So, a week goes by and I ask if it was sorted out, or should I pay a different way. She said she’d let me know. Then, she quit. I was there another year, and nobody ever hunted me down for my $160. Then I quit. Free jacket and fleece.

I do have a small collection of parts that were manufactured or ordered incorrectly. They’re useless, and too small to be of any scrap value. I like them because they are so drastically different from the prints, it’s funny. Like, what were they thinking when they made these? I’ll probably bring them back ans toss them in the scrap bin before I leave this job.

BoxOfFeet ,

It was! I have hundreds of dollars in company apparel that my current company just gave us. Polos, fleeces, a Carhartt coat, a Weatherproof jacket, a 50 qt Coleman cooler. We’d get something every Christmas. So, paying for your own company merch seemed weird to me, but I still wanted some. I’m glad it worked out.

BoxOfFeet ,

I just did the zap element thing on that warning. So far so good, except you can’t scroll down.

BoxOfFeet ,

Wow, that’s so cool! I have Little Chief by Williams which is a LOT like Aztec. I haven’t even begun to restore that one. I also have El Toro, by Bally. It took me a week to get all the contacts clean…

BoxOfFeet ,

I tried rubbing CBT oil on my feet to help with my anxiety. I couldn’t walk right and was peeing blood for weeks.

BoxOfFeet ,

Your mom’s stroganoff? I thought that was more of a dad thing. And I wouldn’t really call it “hot.”

BoxOfFeet ,

Not my beloved bleach!! It’s my favorite cleaner.

Did you know that it feels slippery due to saponification? It’s using your own body oils!

It smells good, it tastes good, AND it makes its own soap. It really is a miracle product.

BoxOfFeet ,

That looks like a three-handed goatse…

The Deacon of the Deez will never go for it. Consumption and expansion is pivotal to his beliefs.

BoxOfFeet ,

Yeah. Brook makes a good adapter that supports modern controllers, as well as the PS3, so you can still get those pressure sensitive buttons. I use mine all the time, PS2 is pretty much the only console I play anymore.

BoxOfFeet ,

They definitely are. In Ace Combat 4, R1 is thrust and it is pressure sensitive.

BoxOfFeet ,

Brook has had an adapter like this for several years now, and it also works with Dual Shock 3 so you can use the pressure sensitive buttons. But it is $40 compared to the $25 of this one. It’s worth it to me, I love those buttons for Ace Combat.

BoxOfFeet ,

I run XP on my Dell E510 (with good capacitors! ). I love revisiting some of my old games that just don’t hit the same on modern Win. Battlezone II, Battlefield 1942, Rollercoaster Tycoon.

BoxOfFeet ,

Have they not read “The Jungle”? Pretty sure this exact sort of thing was addressed a hundred years ago.
